Politicians of every stripe have convinced the vast majority that Mutually Assured Destruction is the only means of keeping us safe...from each other. Remember. we're the other elsewhere.

The only sensible solution is dismantling all nukes worldwide, in every country. That means, somebody has to start first, as in any other venture.

Starting first takes courage. Which nation has enough moral fiber to destroy their nukes, setting an example for all others??? So far, only South Africa, and they did not do so in good faith; they shared some of their nuclear tech with Israel.

Every nuke destroyed makes the world a safer place, from war, from mental illness, from sabotage.

If a nuke blast will affect your location, then a bunker won't be much help, unless you have about a year worth of food to live on. Or a few months at least, till an 'all clear' in which case you'll be moving to new location anyway, away from any radiation contaminated area.

Why TH is a good place to be, not in any target zone that I can think of.

Of course it's all BS doom & gloom, and will never happen. But keeps the economies going. War and or threat of is very profitable.
