90 day report

Featured Replies

I do not understand why my 90 day report keeps getting rejected "information incomplete". It is due 18 June. Till now an agent did it for me. But why pay if I can do it?

I did online report, fill in the questions. What do I miss?

I'm on retirement ext. till next year.

Can anybody tell me what I could have missed?

🙏

Or just accept the fine and wait until you have to go to CW for your Extension. The fine is the same if you're 2 days or 11 months late.

  • online 15 days to 7 days BEFORE only

Did your agent use the immigration office where your address is registered?

TM30 up to date? TM47 should match exactly.

Been out of the country?

Could also be you're too late. Some (all?) offices wont accept online reports within 7 days prior to the due date.

Due date of June 18th. OK, when dId you try doing the report online, what date? How long did it take to find out it was REJECTED? And did you attempt to try again after it was REJECTED?

Which office are you submitting the online report to?

You have been using an agent for your extensions, is this correct? Have you looked at your extension stamp? Does the location of the immigration office in that stamp match your location, where you live? Just trying to help you understand where things might be going belly-up.

Oh, and you have not returned from a trip abroad, say in the last three, four months?

Last report was done at CW, now new one submitted to CW. Not been out of the country for 10 months.

Submitted report 4 days ago, rejection within 3 days. 2nd time 2 days ago.

Is it correct to put expiry of retirement ext. as visa expiry date?

I applied to renew online the other day. The online form indicates which boxes are mandatory to fill in and which are not mandatory. Surname is mandatory. Christian name/middle name are not mandatory so like an idiot I didn't fill them in. The form is then shown PENDING but with only your Surname, and of course later it's REJECTED. I then had did a 2nd application which was approved.

Moral of the story is:

1. Fill in EVERY box regardless of mandatory or not mandatory.

2. Keep versions of earlier 90 day application forms and fill in the new application form exactly as previous, NO deviations.

That would have been Tuesday the 9th. Well, you were within the 'window' to submit it online, no issue there.

It was rejected 'within 3 days' (?) but a second submission was made two days ago, which would be have been Thursday the 11th, right at the edge of the 'window'. And it was REJECTED as well?

Yes, the date the extension expires is what you would input.

And as another post suggests, fill in every box even if they're not marked as mandatory. Leaving the middle name space blank caused a REJECTION one time, rectified by filling it in on a re-sub which resulted in an APPROVED.

You might also tweek which line you put the number for the house or room. It's odd, but what works in my case is putting the room number in there twice, on each of the first two lines.

You have until the 24th to go to CW to do it.

🙏 will have another go & reshuffle a bit.

No, you won't have another go. You are now outside the window for online reporting for Chaeng Watthana. You only have an 8 day window, from 15 days BEFORE the due date, through 7 days BEFORE the due date. That has now passed.

Your only option now is going in person up until 7 days after the due date.

About the 'window' and submitting the report online. My exprrience only, this is at CW.

I have done a 're-sub' (second attempt, after getting REJECTED on the first submission) that was less than 7 days before the due date, think it was three or four days before the due date. It got APPROVED.

My guess is that the 90-day staffer checking the submissions sees that you had made the first one in the allowed time frame, and sees you are re-subbing for a fresh REJECTED.

So maybe the re-sub gets cut a little slack on account of the first one for that 'report cycle' was submitted within the window? Could it be? And if the details in the re-sub check out, you can get an APPROVED?

So I figure the OP has nothing to lose by trying again. I'd give it a shot.

I gave it a shot and it worked for me.

My belief is that IO'S don't want 90 day reports done online because they want boots through the door. It keeps them in a job with the possability of kickbacks.

For peace of mind, I always do my 90-day check-in by the post/mail. No mysterious and frustrating rejections by the online system (been there, done that). No stressful trip to Chaeng Wattana.

(BTW, I have a new passport, and they won't let you do an online check-in on a new passport; the first check-in has to be in-person if you want to use online check-in afterwards, from what I understood.)

This time around, I mailed the form in (15 days before the due date), with the photocopies and self-addressed-stamped envelope and it just arrived back a couple of days ago - eight weeks after I'd sent it out! Unbelievable, but harmless. It has always taken three or four weeks in the past, but eight weeks is a record for me!

Yes, the paper method gives them some work to do - I'm happy to oblige!

Once it has been refused, you are stuck going in to get it done. You need to schedule a trip to CW and get it sorted out. You cannot amend and resubmit.

Start in your name with you processing and you can also ask them what the issue was they may be able to enlighten you

Is that not the expiration date of the Extension as the OP has said he did?

You will now have to go in person to CW to obtain your extension. Take your passport and a copy of the prior extension you were granted.

And who says that if you are that late, they will give you the extension? Not a smart move but then again it is your passport and extension. Also add in that OP would miss how many 90 day and they would add up against him.

Would a Thai IO know what n/a means. Better to put XXX , ___, --- or similar

Just a quick question....my renewal date is 16th July.....I apply on the 10th....if my online renewal is accepted when does it actually start on the date of acceptance or the 16th?

I say it after 20 years of living here and knowing countless people who do it. The missed reports do not add up; the fine is the same no matter how many reports have been missed. I'm not advising it and don't do it myself as it's so easy to report online, but it's an option if the trip out to CW is a major hassle.
