And, in your eyes, that deserved the slaughter of an entire population?

Did the IDF eliminate Hamas, do you think, along with all the women and children?

Which entire population has been slaughtered?

Such a poem couldn't have been written by an Israeli. This bleeding heart "Silverwoman" diasporiarific drama queen doesn't have a clue about the Israeli experience of living in a tiny country surround

If he realised what he's done to his country, better to just shoot himself. This made me think about how focused we are on US gun violence. Israel--obviously--has a lot of guns. Anybody know how much

Maybe Ben Gvir will read the poem and start crying.

I ask, where are the Palestinians now? are they in any better position now then before October 2023?

tens of thousands of them died and wounded, their lives ruined, living in Poverty, in sickness and hurt,

with no hope and no future while their leaders, the Hamas, getting all those billions from Iran as they

live the life of opulence and richness in Dubai's best hotels having billions in their bank accounts,

Is their lives going to get better any time soon? I don't think so, but hey, maybe they're happy sufferings

being martyrs for the cause, seeing their young men being killed on a daily basis,

Yes, they have the world's sympathy for sure, but how dose it helps them to live the live they should be living?

I submit you’re talking through your hat. It has always looked like it was Qatar that supported Hamas, not Iran.

That’s where Hamas leadership was targeted by Israel not Dubai.

The life the Palestinians should be living was wiped out wholesale by the IDF. In fact, the IDF’s mission should have been eliminating Hamas not shooting anything that moved and flattening anything left standing.

Israel’s war on Gaza may well have hardened Palestinians’ resolve right into Hamas. If Israel had any intent in the Gaza war short of killing as many Palestinians as possible, surely this was not the desired result.

Here are the facts:

The number of Israeli citizens of Palestinian Arab descent has grown to 2.2 million today from 160,000 in 1948. Where is the genocide if the population is growing so strongly? Can anyone argue Israel's government and Jewish citizens want to eliminate Palestinians as an ethnic group when that group's population has increased nearly 14-fold in 77 years?

This is a chart over the growth in the population of the Palestinian territory (West Bank and Gaza) since 1950. Again, does this point to genocide?

The mistake anti-Israel posters consistently make is to conflate civilian deaths in urban warfare with a policy of genocide. To give some perspective: In WWII, there was a huge disparity between Axis and Allied civilian casualties. Allied strategic bombing killed hundreds of thousands of German and Japanese civilians, maybe a million in total. The fire bombing of Tokyo killed 100,000 in one night.

This wasn't considered a war crime, much less genocide, because the civilian deaths were not intentional but "collateral damage." The goal was to destroy the enemy's capacity to wage war, not to eliminate Germans or Japanese as a nation.

The situation Israel faces in Gaza is the same.
