The cabinet secretariat will circulate the draft to relevant agencies to collect feedback on administrative arrangements before final approval. I have never understood how sports is linked to tourism. There is no plan to bring the FIFA World Cup here. Besides people coming to Thailand to learn Muay Thai. I doubt anyone comes to learn soccer.

Even more, what has sports to do with culture? Maybe takraw is a typical part of Thailand culture but you can tell by its international exposure (not) that the tourism people are not pushing it. I doubt the culture people will do anything.

Sports would develop faster if it was a standalone ministry.
