Bill Pulte was a businessman.

He was not a politician.

He is NOT a "creature of the swamp."

Both Dems and Republicans wanted Pulte's stint to be brief. Trump had other ideas.

No, Trump said it will be brief and they are interviewing replacements.

He will become the most hated man in the US and then go retire in Pattaya.

A moronic clown without an accomplishment in his entire useless life---save for being born grandson to a successful businessman---who has zero intelligence experience, zero foreign policy experience, and zero public service experience, goes into a job about which he has a sum total of zero knowledge, and somehow...somehow...can determine in hours whom to fire?

It's a perfect example of MAGA in action: don't let abject ignorance get in the way of retribution for perceived slights.

Lots of people are no doubt happy about that: idiot Dunning-Kreuger-suffering MAGAs and their strange bedfellows, who include Putin, Xi, Kim Jong-un, the mullahs of Iran, al Qaeda, ISIS and ISIS-K.

Incompetence and petty vindictiveness have a cost. Without a doubt the US will be less secure and more vulnerable to terror attacks or being hosed by hostile foreign powers, as Trump has recently been by Iran.

I suspect you know absolutely nothing about the intel community, but are just so captured by your membership in the cult of the moronic, that you somehow think Pulte will add value.

I pray to Zeus that if a terror attack is a direct result of expertise lost due to petty vindictiveness, that the victims are solely those MAGAs and their families, who think Pulte will add value. That would make it somewhat Darwinian in nature, as well as being fair.

Anyone who uses the silly term "Deep State" simply broadcasts their abject idiocy for rational people to see. The dumber people are and the less they know about reality, the more certain they are they know something. Friggin morons.

I am continually amazed by just how dumb---with a "b"---MAGAs are, and how susceptible they are to any insane utterance or quote that spews from Trump's gaping maw.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but with MAGAs, often the opinion is so infantile and stupid that calling it out and belittling the idiot is a public service.

NBC News is using the term "deep state".

So I'm not sure it's such a taboo expression anymore in 2026.

Yep. I'm a conspiracy theorist. I actually believe Covid-19 came from a lab. Oh wait! It did.

How is the deep state defined? I have always understood it as government employees who act against the wishes of the current administration.

I agree, just like they fired all those folks that were determining the value of possible targets just prior to the "excursion" in Iran and tomahawked the girls school, plus more that 10,000 lawyers fired or quit under this DOJ and they still have not released the Epstein files are required by a Congressional law passed in December, plus putting someone in charge of the intel agencies who has never ever held a security clearance...another example was the senior CIA officer getting gold bars and currency delivered to his house and he too was never even security cleared as all these offices are now under manned IMHO. I was a govt employee and I know that not all employees are super workers but most do their job honestly and not openly corrupt like the current administration IMHO. The US has under this administration destroyed any positives in relation to our Allies IMHO while strengthening the orange one's fascination with autocrats IMHO. I sure don't know anyone in the US that is happy with the current situation.

Yes, and also they give themselves more power than the president, or don't check in with the president.

Allen Dulles (director of CIA) was in power 9 years -- ie they often stay in power longer than any one president.

Still has not been proven, but CIA may have killed JFK because he was not doing what they wanted him to do.

Nice attempt at deflection. As you must well remember all those who were saying that Covid-19 was a lab leak were branded conspiracy theorists. It's now the overwhelming consensus and Gabbard's latest release of files on Fauci cements it. BTW how about showing you used AI for your list or is this list your own definitions.

As soon as you start putting links to so called News sources you quote !

If I use a news source I source it. If I use AI I acknowledge it.

No you dont !! quote your post !! Different thing. Those shows are computer controlled. Russia is using the same thing as per the article in Ukraine where smaller drones can be launched from and directed through a larger drone acting as a relay thus extending the range drones can go. Sort of like a mothership. Fair chance that what's mentioned above is Russian tech.

No, the source mentioned deep state, NBC themselves never mentioned it. What constitutes 'deep state' please?

This just shows the stupidity of this.
"A separate source with knowledge of the matter told NBC News over the weekend that Pulte had ordered staff members to identify 400 employees to be fired from the National Counterterrorism Center, which is part of the U.S. intelligence community, in the coming weeks."

This was a comment. Russia does use mother drones. No source is needed.

This position is not one for which being "a businessman" qualifies one to do. He is way over his head, and will do the exact same type of damage DOGE did. DOGE did NOT save money. Per AI: "Assessments of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are divided, with DOGE claiming to have generated over $55 billion to $160 billion in savings, while independent watchdogs, economists, and congressional investigations argue its actions ultimately cost taxpayers tens of billions of dollars." Not to mention the lives of innocent children who died because of cuts to humanitarian efforts.

Now we're entering stage two of seriously stupid actions.

No it is not you are refering to an Artical "as per" the article What !! Artical !!!

Goodness! There's a shining example of MAGA (il)logic:

If maybe one sort of "conspiracy theory" might be true, it somehow follows that ALL conspiracy theories are true.

I certainly hope such people do not reproduce, because the species has enough trouble without adding more blithering imbeciles to the mix.

Why the Covid-19 documents Gabbard released don’t prove her claims about Fauci

PUBLISHED Jun 23, 2026, 11:49 AM ET

On her final day as director of national intelligence last week, Tulsi Gabbard released internal documents that she claimed prove a series of damning facts about Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Covid-19 pandemic.

They don’t. The documents fall far short of corroborating various Gabbard claims about Fauci.

Most notably: The documents do not come close to proving that “Fauci Funded Wuhan Lab Research That Sparked COVID,” though that’s the assertion Gabbard’s team made in the bolded headline it used on the director’s official website announcing the document release.

While the documents include some discussions within the intelligence community about the possible origins of Covid-19, they don’t provide any clear answers.

https://edition.cnn.com/2026/06/23/politics/covid-19-gabbard-fauci-claims

NB It is the WHO opinion that neither the lab leak or the market theory for the Covid source has been directly proven.

I think, like a number of observers, he is remarking upon the appointment of an individual who knows the absolute cubed root of bugger all about National Intelligence, as Director of National Intelligence!

That said, knowing the "cubed root of bugger all" about the work of the department you lead is something of a long running thread in this chaotic, vindictive, particularly incompetent and deeply politicised administration! One calls to mind Messrs Patel, Kennedy and Hegseth!

When you accept the label, act like a disputed claim is already proven, and use a point that almost nobody outside your cult even talks about, you’re not showing you’re not a conspiracy theorist — you’re basically proving the point.
