There is a difference betwen "see" and "detect".

It is highly appropriate that a banking app can detect anything that would pose a potential risk.

Makes you wonder what else an app can "detect."

This is only recent. The two apps worked along side each other on my phone for years.

Just keep your banking apps on a secure phone and don't mix with dodgy apps

I don't think you need the registered sim card apart from the first time you install the app

There is nothing "not recent" about banking apps.

Scammers are making it more difficult for honest people to access their own money. Only going to get worse in the future.

That is becoming normal with many companies now. I get that with Netflix and PayPal also.

Only recently with the Kasikorn Bank app for me. Never had a problem in the past, now I can't open the app whilst the other app is on my phone.

Call the bank they'll tell you exactly what app to delete

The app actually tells me the name of the app that supposedly poses a risk. Uninstall it, and no problem with the Kasikorn app. Reinstall it again, and back to normal.

Similar reports if you have enabled developer mode. Some apps will not allow access while developer mode is enabled.
