Five people were injured with three taken to hospital after the incident on Ealing Broadway, Ealing, west London, at about 2.30pm on Saturday

The car involved did not stop at the scene but was apprehended a short time later in Grange Park, leading to the arrest of the 34-year-old Somalia-born British driver.

Counter Terrorism Policing London conducted initial inquiries, but the incident is not being treated as terrorism.
