Freebird.

There are so many great locations, it's hard to narrow it down to just five. I gave it a shot though.

  1. Maria Creative House

  2. Poseidon Entertainment Complex

  3. La Belle Entertainment

  4. Black Caviar

  5. Emmanuelle

Edited by BilllyGOAT

I'm going for three because my morning brain fog.

Criteria:

Places that cut out the monotony of flat asphalt and uniform greenery (tunnels of green) without having to deal with over-commercialized tourist traps. Restaurants\bars with spectacular views. I'm not a food snob so if it comfortable and scenic, I'm good.

1. Na Noi (Nan province)

The Terrain: Na Noi sits right on the doorstep of Khun Sathan National Park. This isn't just "rolling hills"—it features aggressive, alpine-style elevation profiles with steep, ridges and exposed single-track.

Lacks in restaurants with great views but once you figure out the town, there are some good ones but only a few.

2. Chiang Mai (Outer Loop & Foothills)
The key: outside the loop road and avoiding the burning season. When the air clears, the typography just outside the city center is top-tier for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

3. Khong Chiam (Ubon Ratchathani)

This is the dark horse with exposed geological shifts and huge rivers.  Wonderful restaurants and hotels with unbeatable waterfront views and a very short burning season and sometimes, other than a day or two, non-existent.  Not a flat area within kilometers and extremely rocky.  Modern vibe at some places but almost like stepping  into a time machine and going back 50 years outside the city center.  Bonus : Paksong is only 60 kilometers away.

Too upscale for me but I bet many to most here like these types of "places". Great service and an ambiance build around sharp angles feels weird to me. I go for the fun places with the brewery aroma and where things are dropped on the table with a bang and spillage. I would look like Crocodile Dundee in your favs and a couple places wouldn't even let my type in.

Well that's one, where are the other four, and the places.

If you are going to answer an OP, make it something worth reading please.

Typo

Koh Chang, Kanchanaburi, Erawan National park, Phuket, Bueng Kan.

Impossible to add 5 favorite songs as there are hundreds, but these are 5 of them-Tuesday's Gone- Lynyrd Skynyrd, Leaving Traces- Neal Casal, This Morning- The Blue jays, Get Ready For Love- April Wine, Falling Away- Threshold.

Who made you the hall monitor?

Have to go with Top 5 provinces, as don't want my favorite areas to get invaded ...

PKK

Chumphon

Surat Thani

Phang Nga

Krabi

Tough call, as also at Trang, Phatthalung, and Nakhon Si Thammarat (now), this current outing, and spectacular landscape.

Honorable mentions, though haven't spent enough time in either, Nan & Yala

Shame I can't show any drone footage that I've managed to squeeze in between the rain this O&A. Or others vids / snaps, I've taken since new toy arrive. FIMI Mini 3 is awesome.

Top 5 songs ... that will take way too much thought, no time now to delve into that.

Start off with 'Presence of the Lord' - EC, and I'm an Atheist, go figure.

Don't know about Top 5, but positive songs, a few off top of my head ...

Can't forget my theme song to live by in younger years ...

Agree. The most desperate attention seeker posts it who is desperate to climb up his much coveted leaderboard which he actually believes he could one day 'top' now negative emojis no longer count towards his reputation. "Post enough drivel and surely I can rise to the summit" seems to be his mantra. It certainly was under his 8+ previous guises.

Biggest narcissist responds with his detailed list of 'look at me, look at me - I know everything about everywhere but I despise each and every one of you'. I could not envisage a more tedious, terrifying plight than bumping into either of them.

This topic and one (or maybe 3/4) poster(s) is making this site no longer worth visiting. The banality of it is mind numbing.

Ban chang. What a night. Golf caddies. Fooooooooore some.

Five is a struggle, but I had a great time raking down Sukhumvit Road on my folding bike, and then coming back along the port road to the old Office. If I'd gone across to the island, it would have been better.

Of course everyone likes 80s music, and I was only slightly surprised to find that young people still like 80s music. Back in the day, I was surprised to learn that I liked 80s music I did not know

No it's not. Consider yourself lucky it really is that few. I am using great restraint. I personally think that virtually every post you make is inane drivel which warrants a thumbs down, hence my reactions.

Stop whining and get back to abusing people.

I hope you will stay away from AN anyway or stop stalking other members. As far as I see you don't contribute anything worth to mention or remember.

Tough. As long as you keep posting crap, I'll be calling you out on it. I cannot recall one post of yours that added any value to any topic.

I just came back from a holiday in LOS (travel twice a year), having lived in LOS for many years, I find Thailand very boring. No matter where you go, it all looks the same. If I wanted to move back, it would be Pattaya, where I have been many times. Yes, my wife is Thai and has been in the West for many years and won't move back to LOS. My 2 cents Worth.

Then read it again, can you?

Just keep it for yourself. Your main task on AN is to answer to stupid jokes which show everything about you. Pathetic
