Has anyone used TorFX for large fund transfers into Thailand?

Featured Replies

Hi,

TorFX seems to offer by far the best rates for transfers of over £20000 into Thailand.

  1. Has anyone used them and can share their experience?

  2. Did they have an issues obtaining FET/TT3 Foreign Exchange documentation from the Thai bank after making the transfer?

Thanks!

Good questions - never heard of TorFX but Claude/Gemini seem pretty positive, and especially for larger transfers into Thailand. Apparently, the fx rate can be negotiated within a range and the larger the transfer, the better the rate. I would definitely consider TorFX if I was transferring cash for a condo, car or some other large purchase.

Many sites do direct comparison.

Can be biased however simple Google of eg " TorFx vs WISE would be a start.

Which I just did. AI reply.....

"Wise is generally cheaper and faster for small, self-managed transfers and offers a multi-currency account, whereas TorFX is better for large sums (over £8,000 / $10,000) because it assigns you a dedicated account manager and can waive transfer fees."
