they claim something, forget they claim it or claim they never claimed. short on facts, long on parroting jew hate.

Why does it always have to be about Jew-hate, antisemitism, the Holocaust, the pogroms, the Crusades, Egypt? Ancient history. Get over it and focus on the present.

Since the escalation of the hostilities on March 2, Israeli attacks have killed at least 3,711 people in Lebanon, including 132 healthworkers and 247 children, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry. At least 1,417 people, more than a third of the total death toll since March 2, were killed in Israeli attacks since April 17. This includes 32 health workers, nearly one in four of all those killed since March 2, and at least 70 children, more than 1 in 4 of all those killed since March 2. On average, Israeli forces killed more than one child every day since April 17.

Israeli Displacement and Killings of Civilians in Lebanon Rage On | Human Rights Watch

I presume you consider children as not innocent because they may become Hezbollah when they grow up?

Health workers are killed because they provide medical aid to all people who may or may not be Hexbollah?

Those health workers only save militants. It's easier to strap a suicide bomb on a child. /s

Do was Iran supposed to be eradicated?

Please, a link to the agreement where Iran gets billions.

You know full well there is only an MOU. You'll be the first to know when there's an agreement. I hope the US will add in defunding Hezbollah.

Then we agree, there is no agreement yet, I thought not.

Why do so many people keep saying there is?

Can you provide a link to that claim that there were air strikes on civilians ?

(BTW , a non Al Jazeera or Iran TV link )

The BBC sys different

"The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had struck 80 targets linked to the Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah and killed "dozens" of its members."

No image preview

Lebanon says Israeli strikes kill 47 as Israel says four...

It comes a day after the US and Iran signed a deal to end their conflict, including fighting in Lebanon.

I'm sure Israel killed dozens of Hezbollah fighters. All the rest were civilians, as documented by Lebanon.

Ya know, everybody keeps talking about these human shields, militants in ordinary houses or hospital or schools or tunnels. Well, root them the eff out, don'y destroy the places that are guaranteed to make you enemies! What kind of a strategy is that? Maybe Israel thrives on enemies far more than friends.

I agree. So why obliterate villages and displace innocents in the process. Hezbollah only are legitimate targets.

Hezbollah are located in the villages , have to knock the villages down to make sure there's no hiding place for Hezbollah

There is no Israeli lobby in the US.

You're right. It's Israeli lobbies, of which these are only a few of many more.

Major Lobbying and Advocacy Organizations

  • AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee): The largest and most influential pro-Israel lobbying organization in the U.S. It operates major PACs (such as the United Democracy Project) that spend heavily in federal elections to support pro-Israel candidates. [1, 2, 3]

  • J Street: A liberal advocacy group and PAC that lobbies for a two-state solution and generally supports diplomatic engagement with Iran. It is the primary left-of-center alternative to AIPAC. [1, 2, 3]

  • Christians United for Israel (CUFI): The largest pro-Israel Christian grassroots organization in the U.S., mobilizing millions of evangelical Christians to advocate for unconditional support for Israel. [1, 2, 3]

  • Zionist Organization of America (ZOA): A prominent right-wing advocacy group that focuses on combating anti-Israel bias and actively lobbying on conservative policy issues.[1, 2, 3]

Political Action Committees (PACs)

Several PACs exist to bundle campaign contributions for federal candidates who strongly support the U.S.-Israel partnership. Major examples include:

  • NORPAC: A multi-candidate PAC that is one of the largest financial contributors to pro-Israel members of Congress. [1, 2]

  • DMFI (Democratic Majority for Israel): An organization that lobbies to maintain strong pro-Israel support within the Democratic Party and works to elect progressive pro-Israel candidates. [1, 2, 3, 4]

  • RJC (Republican Jewish Coalition): A national organization that works to foster strong ties between the Jewish community and the Republican party, strongly emphasizing pro-Israel policies. [1, 2, 3]

  • Pro-Israel America (PIA): A PAC dedicated exclusively to funding candidates who support U.S.-Israel defense and security assistance. [1, 2]

Israeli defense and intelligence agencies have repeatedly released captured documents, personnel rosters, and salary records indicating that several Palestinian journalists operating in Gaza were simultaneously operatives or military figures within Hamas and other armed groups. egasus Project found that thousands of individuals, including at least 189 journalists worldwide, were selected as potential targets for surveillance by clients of the Israeli cyber-surveillance firm NSO Group

AIPAC is an American organization, funded by Americans, it is not an Israeli organization.

Yes, as I said prviusely, they lobby for Israel.

Do you think lobbying should be illegal?

No, lobbying should not be illegal. But as in the Canadian model, limited to $100k annually in total to the recipents of their choice. Forget buying politicians and judges!

It's American Jewish people who support Israel.

It doesn't receive funding from the Israeli government because the whole project would not be sustainable if it did.

The flow of money is mostly towards Israel, beginning with wealthy Jewish Americans lobbying through AIPAC.

No, that's not correct. Foreign govts are not legally permitted to lobby in the US and perhaps other countries, too.

1 hour ago, Yellowtail said:

A lot of non-Jewish Americans also support AIPAC.

It does not receive money from Israel, or any foreign government, or any foreign national, because to do so would be illegal.

As I said a number of times, AIPAC lobbies for Israel, which is perfectly legal, just like it is legal for NIAC to lobby for Iran.

*As I understand it, NIAC's budget is significantly larger than AIPAC's budget, but no one is howling about that.

*From a quick Google search.

I truly wonder what Americans other than Jews would support the Jewish lobby. How is it in their interest? Xian Zionists???

Just waitin' on de Rapture! (Most of my own raptures are horizontal.)

I wonder who would lobby for Hamas, but people do, the USCPR, as an example.

Non-Jewish Americans have plenty of reason to support Israel. To protect its geopolitical interests, the U.S. needs a strong and reliable ally in the Middle East. Israel fits the bill better than any Arab country could.

In the past, Israel stood against Soviet influence in the region, while today it serves as a bulwark against radical Islamism. Israel is the functional equivalent of a giant military base defending U.S. interests. Through the years, the U.S. has gotten massively valuable return on the military aid given to Israel.

What complete BS! Most of the dead are civilians! If Israel killed more than 3k Hezbollah, they might be rethinking instead of attacking, even though there are 20-50k of them.

Lebanon has declared the Hezbollah militancy illegal. But the Hezbollah political party has 13 seats of 128 in Lebanon's parliament. Whether these pols support the Hezbollah fighters or not is unclear to me.

If Israel and America were serious about stopping Hez, they would have penciled that into the Iran deal, wouldn't they?

The BS is your political sloganeering and repeat of intentionally false information. The false claim is that tens of thousands have died in the Lebanon war. You have doubled down on that claim. The statements of involved parties do not support that claim. Even the anti Israel media outlet the Qatar News Agency on 18 June 2026 cites 3,912 total deaths. More than 1/2 of those deaths are Hezbollah fighters. Hezbollah admitted last April that over 1,000 of its military personnel had been terminated. This was public knowledge and was confirmed by Arab media outlet Asharq Al-Awsat https://web.archive.org/web/20260418053239/https://english.aawsat.com/arab-world/5263615-hezbollah-tallies-its-dead-israel-war-estimates-exceed-1000 Israel says 2500+ Hezbollah military personnel have been terminated.

The group launching missiles against Israel are Hezbollah. and it is an illegal military force occupying Lebanon. You are not concerned that Hezbollah has rejected the legal order of the sovereign Lebanese government and operated with near impunity. It was armed and financed by Iran and Syria. You appear to embrace Hezbollah, the same group which kept Assad in power and operated the torture and rape prisons. The double standard you display oozes from you and drips onto the electronic pages of this forum.

Iran has done its utmost to block the Lebanese government from disarming the Hezbollah military, and that is what you support. What part of Lebanon being a sovereign country occupied by Hezbollah do you not comprehend? Hezbollah operates as a state within a state. it is a cancer, and you are its defender.

Are you saying it is not true? And if another source is provided, will you change your position?

I'm guessing the only source you will accept would be Hamas, yes?

When the IDF provides the narrative, which is in their best interests, to justify their action and avoid further investigation I would not take the statement at face value. An objective person would seek independent verification, and I would also accept that.

Hamas also cannot be considered independent but I, and perhaps you, would accept if they admitted that the allegations were true, as it would not be in their best interests to do so.

Israel was very keen to get independent verification of the atrocities committed on October 7, now they seem keen on simply pushing their own narrative of events.

Israel is killing tens of thousands of innocents in foreign countries. They should not be gifted billions every year to buy weapons.

First, you can't justify that statement in any way, shape, or form or provide links.

Second, how many thousands have been killed by IRGC, Hezbollah, Houthis, Hamas, PLJ, IRI, I suppose you would rather not discuss this lot?

Left wing, anti-Semitic rubbish, regurgitated over and over again whilst ignoring the real terrorists, DISGUSTING.

Iran's network of aligned militant and terrorist organizations spans the Middle East, primarily backed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The most prominent U.S. and EU-designated terrorist groups linked to Iran include: [1]

  • Hezbollah: A Lebanese Shia Islamist political party and militant group founded and financed by Iran. [1, 2]

  • Hamas: The Sunni Islamist militant group that controls the Gaza Strip and receives financial and military backing from Iran. [1, 2]

  • Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ): A major Gaza-based militant faction heavily supported by Tehran. [1, 2]

  • The Houthis (Ansarallah): A political and military organization in Yemen, armed and supported by Iran. [1, 2]

  • Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI): A coalition of Iran-aligned Shia militias, including Kataib Hezbollah, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, and the Badr Organization. [1, 2, 3, 4]

  • Fatemiyoun Division: An Afghan Shia paramilitary group formed and funded by the IRGC. [1, 2, 3]

  • Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) & PFLP-General Command: Palestinian militant factions that receive Iranian support. [1, 2]
