My mom had 'Old timers disease', as my students called it.Maybe I should put in application now while I can.I'm trying to work the delicate balance of mental and physical shutdown at the same time.I that doesn't work, a trip to Switzerland might be in order. BUT can someone deep into dementia be given euthanasia 'solution'?I'm sorry to hear about your Mum. Govts have made end-of-life solutions difficult. I suggest you buy the online Peaceful Pill Handbook from Exit International. You could also think about attending one of their workshops. There's no reason to go anywhere, really. Are you in the US? Oregon might be a possibility, too. Your Mum is glad to have you to look after her.

Oregon might be a possibility, too. Your Mum is glad to have you to look after her.I am an Oregonian, but live in Jomtien. Dear Oregon friend had terminal ovarian cancer, wanted to do the 'early check out' but some California woman got famous for blogging or whatever about her 'journey' in Oregon and natch a flock of terminal Californians flooded our health system.... she couldn't get the assistance...as we say/said "Don't Californicate Oregon". But I will look for that book...Mom died of pancreatic cancer... I doubt she knew what was happening, so may have been a blessing of sorts.Easiest would seem to get some fentenal (however you spell it) off the street, but my luck would be getting sugar pills and not the real deal. And so it goes
July 2Jul 2 Fentanyl has a very short shelf life but may be easier to obtain than gold standard pentobarbital. which lasts in the fridge for more than 10 years. You can find the book here. Google Search makes it extremely hard to find.As an Oregonian, you just need a doctor there. This group can help.
