I see you never learned to be humble. Strange rant as per usual.

No, in my humble opinion, it all is on you, creating topics that you have no clue or real-life understanding of. Only creating topics you know nothing about or only read about. Keep up the good work, it´s really amusing. You are my 1 stop clown right now!

People are people no matter where you go, with cultures having some small differences but the basics are still there. Most everyone wants the same basic things, give or take, but still individuals with their own personal wants and desires.

Two people can love Thai food, walks on the beach, sunsets, drives through the country, holding hands, while one can love hunting and the other be a vegetarian.

A set of definitive personality types all over the world, but cultures can make some have different values.

The local government has their people acting different than those next door, where rules are enforced less or more.

Religions have some people looking at women as virtual slaves, and others cherished, with people in both places addressing them either way. You can put Thai citizens in America, and they'll still be Thai, but some will adopt new attitudes, especially if they like them more than what they grew up with. The Thai friends I had back in America said they'll never go back, liking their new freedoms better, but still miss some things back home.

Thabks Fred! Once again, you clear out all subjects and confusion for us. You are a true oracle! I wonder what we would do without you here. Hey! @All stop, take a break and listen to Fred!

I have learned many things.

Thais are master savers. They clutch every baht like it’s their last, refusing to waste it on something as vulgar as showing off. What a noble, understated lifestyle.

They are amazing cooks and always use the best ingredients and even their deep fried food is cooked in avocado oil. Yum

Thai customer service is world class. None of that cold, robotic Western politeness just pure passion when they scream “HEY YOU!”

Thais are passionate drivers, yet weirdly careful at the wheel. Their politeness goes way beyond respecting elders and it extends to their fellow road warriors with gentle honks, forgiving smiles, and the occasional Buddhist level patience. They basically turned me into a respectful driver overnight.

What else? There are so many things

Bipolar people tend to do that.

I have no idea how old you are. I don't know your name.

All you do on here is insult strangers like lots do.

The point of forums is to help people and discuss topics.

The topic is about Thais too.

Yet all your posts are just attacking the OP which is common on here. Regardless of who starts a topic same insults.

Same as anyone really. Thais are no different than people back home. They get jealous, angry, worry, are competitive......The common tropes like Thais are preoccupied with saving face as if it is an exotic Thai only trait are silly.

Thai culture though is vastly different from where I came from and after 3 decades I still enjoy it.

People are people but buddhism plays a role in shaping them. I've never been attacked verbally by Thais like farangs do on here. It is not in their nature.

You need to learn to practice what you preach. You tend to verbally attack people more than any other poster on here. A major reason for your jaw dropping negative reputation. Not only on this nick but on at least 3 previous ones.

There is the respect of elders. There is being humble.

Nothing, as people are the same worldwide, with little to no real difference. If you haven't learned to treat people the way you wish to be trreated, at retirement age, or when you discaover Thailand, then you're pretty hopeless already.

My parents did a decent job of raising us. Learning anything else was easy enough on your own. This forum is proof, many didnt' get that type of guidance or can rational think for themselves.

Thankfully the world as a whole, is not a reflection of the vocal AN membership.

Never abused anyone who did not abuse me first including you. Given that you dodge topics and 50% of your posts are about me I'm not the one with a problem.

Your obsession with me is strange. I have you on ignore.

Your threads tend to be set up so that you can abuse people by their replies. You have been warned by the mods for doing this yet you continue.

You also tend to lie and exaggerate in most of your posts. So you get called out on them. Not only by me, but many other posters who live here and take offense at your silly BS. Trying to come off as a Thai expert when in reality you are a budget tourist with a Thai infatuation. Glad to hear I am on ignore.

Make that 8 previous ones. Statements of guilt, "Never abused anyone who did not abuse me first including you". "Notice how I have never abused you cause you are a decent poster". Admitting abusing. Difference being it's him who always starts it.

You need to remember one thing. There is no "us" here besides you and those #1 and #2 trolls. That you stick up for each other isn't bypassing anyone. You're in a select company which no one else wants to join, along with being despised from almost every reply you make.

Thinking I don't "know nothing" about something isn't helping you, as i, unlike you, can back up everything I post, not with opinions and assumptions like yours, but facts, links and experience. "Only creating topics you know nothing about or only read about" How would you know I "know nothing" if you don't yourself?

Yes, I read often, daily since high school, on a variety of subjects. That's how you get information, especially when you read from many authors so you can find out the truth, separated from just opinions.

I'm thinking your education stopped once you left school. Try thinking of more words to include, as your diatribe here matches those other two, who also use the same lines daily, along with adding new hyperboles like "frenzy" yesterday.

@Rockyroad , the numbers don't lie. You (in your latest incarnation) have posted 4,600 times and have a reputation score of minus 3,218. I think it's clear to everyone else that you are the problem.

Other posters appear to tolerate you when you are reasonable but you are growing your bad reputation score when you start insulting other posters. It is tiresome and this type of behaviour dissuades reasonable folk from wishing to participate on this forum. And, lastly, don't be a hypocrite.

You have never been attacked by Thais online but that is because you are a not a native Thai speaker on their forums. In real life you also aren't attached by foreigners. It is an online issue and I think people expose their true self because they have no restaints.

@IsaanT have you followed the trail?

I'm on Rockyroads side, in the past I've received many unprovoked, hostile, nasty, abuse from members, I'd get my back up, I'd reply with hostility, then out of the blue others here would be attacking me, ignoring the prior abuse I had received.

I make it a point, I rarely reply to a comment, I usually just comment on the article or OP, too many here that are unhinged.

Have you not noticed why he, and a couple of others, gets those replies? Look further back to whoever he's talking to, and everyone on this forum knows why.

Ask yourself why you get replies like you do, although I don't see them as as nasty or unprovoked as you do. You're constantly berating foreigners and you are one.

When you talk about an incident where a particular foreigner does something wrong, commenting on his actions is understood. When you say he's like all the many foreigners that are here makes it sound like it's a majority, when it has always been a fraction of the total foreigners living here. Tourists of all nationalities have been a problem here, but it's still a fraction of all who visit. Expats living here cause very little trouble.

This has been pointed out to you all along, by many people, and not in a nasty way but just pointing the behavior out. These are the only comments I see about you that are negative, as the others aren't a problem. If someone is abusing you, report them, as others do. No one besides the abusers want this forum hostile.

Respect for elders, IMHO, has become more of an aspirational cultural value than one which is adhered to in real life. When it is practiced, it's strictly limited to parents, and usually it's motivated by a fear of being disinherited. Yeah, you heard what I said. Anybody who imagines you're gonna be listened to attentively as you reminisce about your youthful exploits and pass on all of your corny and boring life knowledge in mangled Thai in between being lovingly spoon fed apple sauce by a pimple faced candy-striper in a Thai nursing home had better think again. That respect for elders mumbo-jumbo sure as heck doesn't apply to your non-Thai butt, buck-o. You'll be lucky if you're not given a hot-shot injection by a nurse Ratched type who just wants your endless blabbering to stop. Just fishing for some laugh emojis, here, but at the same time, see myself as providing a public service by keeping it real.
