It's not about 'crying, sobbing and debasing women'. It's simply about whether you believe the alleged victims in these cases, or not.

The post I was responding to (someone else’s; not yours) was filled with misstatements and was lunatic in tone. I think my response was appropriate.

As for “debasing women,” the post I was responding to was filled with gratuitous insults of E. Jean Carroll. You yourself wrote that “anybody who believes this woman is out of their mind” (I am fully of sound mind, thank you), and that other women who had accused Trump of sexual abuse are a “bunch of money grabbers” (without, presumably, caring to know anything about who they are or what their stories are). In another thread, one person said that the Epstein victims are all simply prostitutes (he used more colorful language) and therefore undeserving of any consideration whatsoever; and in another, a person surmised that women should feel flattered when they get catcalled on the street, and should thank the catcallers.

I can only conclude that a large number of people posting on these threads are full-blown misogynists who will take the wealthy, powerful man’s side every time against the woman, without even for a moment pausing to try to understand the woman’s point of view, her position. Frankly I find this weak and pathetic, but also ultimately destructive of civil society. OK?

In a post on his social media platform after the Supreme Court rejected his appeal, Trump vowed to continue to fight the case.

"I will continue the fight against this Weaponization and Lawfare Case against me, including the ridiculous claim of Defamation, with all of my power and strength," Trump said in the post.

Maybe all these appeals are costing him the same $5 million in attorneys fees.

If you're going to try to manipulate words, it's best to do it when we can't see the original.

Carroll did NOT say that 'she' thought rape was sexy. She said that 'most people' see rape as being sexy as a response to the prosecutor's question. You didn't actually state that she said it, but your comments certainly imply it.
See... this is what most MAGAs don't seem to realize. We read ALL the words. We don't pick and choose what to take out of context. It gives us a more honest account of what actually happened.

Anderson Cooper was the prosecutor? If you're going to rant from your high horse, probably best to inform yourself of the facts 1st? Otherwise you'll end up looking like a usual uninformed leftie😅

The title of the person asking the question makes little difference to the way you are trying to slant the statements Carroll provided.
What MAGA does when confronted, and you exemplify here, is pick an unimportant point of the comments to focus on, rather than even try to rebut the actual information.
It's obvious. It's been the MAGA playbook since Day 1. That's understandable, as there is usually no way to refute fact.

Everyone sees it. Everyone laughs at trump supporters. Not just in America.

Allegations of sexual misconduct from at least 30 women, including two children, raise the question of whether blind loyalty is overriding not only common sense and Occam’s razor, but also the findings of a court of law.

Well this is embarrassing. This "white male" the establishment broke all protocols to racially identify has been RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE. I will fill my pants if we next have another arrest yet mysteriously no description or name gets anounced because " its protocol not to do so" ahahahaha🤣

"Cooper appeared to take issue with the statement, saying: "I think most people think of rape … as a violent assault. It is not sexy."

However, Carroll disagreed, saying: "I think most people see rape as being sexy."

After an awkward pause, she added: "They think of the fantasies."

The camera then cut to a shot of Cooper who looked stunned by the comment and began to stumble over his words as he called for an ad break"

Seven years later, in 2019, advice columnist E. E. Jean Carroll wasn't surprised 'Law & Order: SVU' aired...

A 2012 episode of the"Law & Order: SVU" referencing a rape in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room resembles Carroll's allegations against Trump years later.

Think about it ....

Not at all. These allegations against Trump are dubious, to say the least.

He should not pay her until he has to.

He was found guilty by a jury, and no court, not even his hand-picked Supreme Court, will hear his appeals. He himself earlier admitted that it was fun to assault women, because if you're a star, they let you do it. If you still claim that the charges are “dubious,” you have deliberately twisted yourself into a pretzel to reach that conclusion. And/or, you are deeply misogynist. Use your head, man. Not to mention your heart.

Happily married with a much loved daughter, two grand daughters and three great grand daughters. Thinking on regarding your pretzel reference. Pretzels were created by English monks hundreds of years ago. Not sure how they are relevant to this topic.

What on earth are you talking about. A jury found him guilty of sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll. Thus the $5 million award. What is there about this that you don't understand?

The pretzel is a metaphor. Pretzels are all twisted around. It's what you've turned your brain into in your defense of Trump.

I am talking about you regurgitating a lie. You should apologize, but you won't, because you are a leftist and care nothing about the truth.

Again, ae was not found guilty, quit lying.

I am fully aware what a pretzeI is however thank you for your description. BTW, am not an American and, to be clear, I have no interest whatsoever in defending Trump.

Oh that’s right, it was a civil case and not a criminal case. I retract my statement, <A jury found Trump guilty of sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll>. I should have said, <A jury found that Trump sexually abused and defamed E. Jean Carroll>. Is that better now?

You asked what a pretzel had to do with anything, and I explained my metaphor. You claim not to be defending Trump, but you are attacking, out of hand, the 20+ women who have credibly accused him of sexual assault. Trump has demonstrated that he is a sexual predator.

I am not a woman, but in reading women’s stories, I can begin to understand how difficult it might be to come forward with allegations that a wealthy, powerful, white man has physically assaulted you, knowing that that man has the weight of the legal establishment behind him, and knowing that there are plenty of people like you who will simply toss them off as “money grabbers.”

By not caring a hoot for what these women might have to say, or where they are coming from, you are exhibiting misogynistic behavior. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck … and I assume I don’t have to explain that expression to you.

Many of the claims under the NY Assault lifting statute limitations went like this: A young woman and her boss from Sheboygan, WI attended a convention in NY City and while in their hotel the boss assaulted her. There are records of airline tickets, hotel reservation, meals, etc.

In the Trump case there is no proof that anything of the like occurred or that the 2 ever met.

The jury in the assault case obviously felt otherwise and their 'proof' was based mostly on the 2 contemporaneous phone calls.
