He is, and you need to at least try to come to terms with it.

So attempting to address the headline; generally, in the UK the police are well respected and the last bastion against lawlessness; (as opposed to Thailand, where they are the 1st bastion of lawlessness!) ANY offence against the police should be severely dealt with. I watch a lot of Police documentaries where they chase villains at high speed endangering the lives of the public & police. I am always disappointed to hear the sentence handed down to the offender. I am totally against early release and support the widow's words.
