Hi. I am doing my yearly non o marriage extension. I don't actually have a lease where we live. We are living out of town and things are pretty lazy here. I have my landlady's ID card and house book and she is easily contactable by phone. I just wonder if I am going to have any problems. Cheers.

Presumably you submitted a TM30 when you moved in?

You will need to have TM30.

Some immigration offices require a lease.

Obvious exemption for living in wife's home is one example.

Which immigration office?

Assume you are aware of all the requirements- documents for extension marriage.

Which bank do you use.

Guessing you are using money in bank method (400k seasoned for 2 months)

Hi Dr Jack. Yes. Have statement etc. is not the first time I have done it. I had just read with all the crackdowns they are requesting leases. Is Trat immigration. Thank you

I followed the list from an earlier post about BKK and all was ok except the SM 2 from Trat was different so had to fill out another one. They decided my photos of my wife and I had to have the witness(one required) in them as well so we are gathering new photos. They did require a lease so we had to contact the landlady, go to the post office and buy a lease and am meeting the landlady later to sign. One of the workers at Immigration lives close so she is going to meet us later and get the document which is nice of her. We need to have a video call next week(after the holidays) instead of a home visit. We are in a remote location.

I had posted initially that I was asking about needing lease details. You replied that some offices require one. The point of my post was I thought it would help others if I made it clear that Trat immigration do require a lease.

They have a list on a website but it is not conclusive. As we discussed they also required a lease and landholders ID card and house book. They copied every page of my bank book as well as the statement, They required one witness and their house book and I'd card plus a photo of the couple with the witness. They also require a copy of you TDAC and a TM47 or Reentry permit along with countless random forms.

#9 is a concern. Seems to indicate for income method you must have a embassy letter.

I use income method (retirement) at CW and do not provide embassy letter.
