And to think all they needed was a piece of paper saying they had an export license

And then get arrested in their own countries for importing illegal drugs

I blame the growers, you don’t sell 30kg of cannabis without knowing it’s going to be smuggled.

You just don´t take risks like this for something that has a value of such small amount.

You blame the ones who are apparently doing nothing illegal? Huh?

You’re wrong, you didn’t understand the problem. It IS ILLEGAL.

You can’t sell 30Kg to someone off the street.

Maybe you're wrong and maybe you don't understand.

Where was it reported that the sellers sold it on the street?

Where was it reported that the buyers bought it off the street?

Perhaps licenced suppliers sold it through authorised licensed channels. Perhaps the buyers bought it through authorized licensed channels.

You just proved my point.

No, I don't think I did. You need to clarify which point you think that I proved and how I proved it.

Naming your child after a Eastern Asian country, thinking that will make them more successful, has had a tragic outcome. 🫪

Maybe she wasn't named after a country, she could have been named after the dishes.

I said “you don’t sell 30kg of cannabis without knowing it’s going to be smuggled.”

I never said it WAS sold on the street.

It was either sold to an individual (ie on the street as you suggested) or to another Section 46 licensed grower. Thailand operates a closed loop on Section 46 licensees.

Either way, the seller either sold illegally or knew the other Section 46 licensed customer and therefore knew something was amiss.

Either way, you proved my point the seller of 30Kg carries some blame here.

Yeah, unfortunately, the value of it differs from person to person. For some of these idiots that amount can be seen as a life changing pile of money. That´s kind of where we have the real problem.

What "real problem" do "we have " then? From where I'm sitting the only people with a problem are the swiss idiots, and their french handlers their "problem" is due solely to the ridiculous global anti cannabis laws and the hysteria that has been generated about cannabis in general,

I agree- 1000 baht is a lot when you work for 10 hours to earn 300 baht
