Doesn't sound out of line to me, no paper, no grade...you get a fat zero. Now the teacher was aware of the policy but chose to ignore it.

The lowest possible grade that teachers can give students is a 50, even if they don’t turn anything in. That means that an extremely poorly completed assignment is worth the same number of points as no assignment at all.

Hardly seems fair, right? Westgate is far from the only school that has such a policy, however.

And we wonder why the new generation is fat, lazy and worthless. I told my 14 yr old this story and she thought it was wrong that a kid who tries but does poorly gets the same grade as the kid who doesn't even try.

When these kids grow up they'll be too stupid and also too lazy to succeed in life. The perfect storm for the democrats as they push their socialist agenda with the new DSA.

We ate many liver dinners as a kid. I don't eat it now because I have good money. As a kid I didn't think of us as poor because we had money for important things.

Liver is nasty which isn't the point. Beef is and has always been known as a Texas and US staple. Now it's a luxury like seafood for most. This is by design also, not realistic that they could have planned better to have an abundance of cows or keep it as affordable as chicken or pork although those will probably intentionally be made unaffordable as well
