And they will email you one every month if you request it.

In my experience, (Kasikorn). I have 2 accounts, Bangkok and Pattaya, and both statements include my correct address. Can be requested in Thai or English.

Can I ask, for what reason have you been asked to evidence your address.

Go to your Thai bank and tell them to print a statement with your address in English. They'll charge around 100 baht.

An US Broker accepted the slip you get when registering for a tax number in Thailand in addition with an online TM47, both, the form sent to immigration and the receipt (they contain the same reference number).

Just as you would in the UK to keep an eye on your spending, personal accounting, and, of course l know it's highly unlikely in Thailand😉, to check for scams.

Maybe as an old man I'm outta touch.

I do all my banking etc via my cell.

Any activity in my Oz a/c is notified in real time. Instant.

As for monthly statements. What for?

Bank app provides all that and can print out if that's your thing.

As an aside: year or more back I had fraudulent withdrawal from my bank. Minor amount couple of $200

Was dealt with instantly by Westpac.

Credit to them
