When you go in the bank and ask for a printed bank statement, does it include your address.

I have been asked to confirm my address by bank statement, water, electric or mobile bill. The water and electricity bills are in the owners name and cannot see the facility to print an AIS bill with address.

The home adress is printed on the AIS invoice

In my experience, (Kasikorn). I have 2 accounts, Bangkok and Pattaya, and both statements include my correct address. Can be requested in Thai or English.

Can I ask, for what reason have you been asked to evidence your address.

Go to your Thai bank and tell them to print a statement with your address in English. They'll charge around 100 baht.

A financial company in the UK wants proof of the change of my address. Legal requirement on them.

Fair comment........had it been for, say, a British passport renewal there are ways round it.

Do you have a driving license? The address is on there.

I use my DL and bring a copy of my latest AIS bill.

If you can’t use those then just go to the bank, like said above.

Would a certificate of Residency work? I guess it all depends on what your financial company claims acceptable.

My Thai driving licence only has my full address in Thai. There isn't enough room for the full address in English so they miss the moo bahn number out. My bank won't accept a driving licence anyway, has to be something that is less than three months old. They will accept an electricity bill in Thai with my name on it.

For a British passport renewal, a translated copy of the Thai D/L is usually acceptable.

For a passport application I just ask my UK bank to post me something in time for the renewal.

Maybe you could explain to the bank what you need and have them mail a statement to your address. I have a (Thai bank) credit card, so I get a statement in the mail every month.

My online downloaded statement with KBank and SCB both have my address on, Bangkok bank don't.

If you require a Bank statement in branch with Bangkok bank yes your address is visible

Thanks, I tried to find information on my address on the KBank app, but couldn't find anything. I will have another look.

You can simply download a statement in the app. Then you will see the address they have for you. There is no place to see or edit the address in the app.

But it is possible to edit an address stated in Thai script to its Western equivalent by downloading a Kasikorn statement to a laptop via email.

Kasikorn emails me a weekly statement of each account, and they have my address in English.

You can enable that in the app.

Edit: Just checked and the statement is sent monthly

You select the statement in Thai or English. No need for any editing.

I've just obtained a Kasikorn statement in English, but it still shows my address in Thai script. However I've found that, by removing the password protection and converting the PDF to DOC (Word), I can then amend the address to Western script! Password protection removal and conversion to DOC (Word) are free with PDF24.

All my PDF's have the address in English, maybe contact the call center.

Mine was originally a mix of Thai (e.g. for the sub district and district) and English. They did change it to all-English for me when I asked them to, but I had to go to a branch, I couldn't just get it done by the call center.

I generated a monthly statement only to find the bank put the wrong post box for our condo when they opened the account. Not only that, the address bears no resemblance to what we tell Delivery drivers, it doesn’t even mention the Condo name.

Anyway, went to the bank and updated the address. Now have a monthly bank bill which is also the one on the TM30.

Perhaps your address isn't saved in the system ? You can change your address in your profile (though I don't know if foreigners can do that). I see my address there, but I can't say for sure if it's the one printed on the e-invoice. In any case, my address is printed correctly in the top left corner of the e-invoice (the PDF invoice you can download from the AIS customer portal).
