We run 2 most of the time.

Yes, the offer would include a TOU meter and grid tie.

I got a detailed quote yesterday, in PDF form, which I copy/ pasted into a spreadsheet with no translation. They're coming tomorrow to check the chosen roofs can take the weight. They also just asked if I wanted to consider using Jinko Solar JKM650-670N-66QL6-BDV instead of the Longi LR7-72HVH 650M. I'm not sure of the cost implications. I think the Jinko are more expensive.

"70oC - Hot roof" => 597 kWh/ panel ~ THB 2600 saved with Jinko vs Longi.

the amount of electricity a solar panel can theoretically produce is one thing, but in practice the actual usable output is affected by many different factors. and with a properly sized system, you will normally not be able to use 100% of the electricity your panels produce ...

... with a standard on-grid system, any production above the actual household load becomes surplus ...

... with a hybrid on-grid system, the same applies once the batteries are fully charged and the system continues producing more than the house can consume ..

... surplus could be exported to the grid (permission pea), but only for 2.2 baht per kwh ...

the only situation where i can realistically imagine using close to 100% of the solar production is with a undersized system, where the available solar output is almost always fully absorbed by the household load ...

so simply looking at the panel capacity and theoretical annual production can be misleading. what really matters is how much of that production you can actually use yourself, when you produce it, and what happens to the surplus ...
