I posted earlier about finding a hearing aid, here is an update.

First, all those +/- 1000 baht little behind the ear units seem to have a fixed length connector to the earpiece and if you don't fit it, it is hard to use. I bought one b4 I knew this. It works, said my wife, but not comfortable. They are all identical in shape and imagine they all come from the same factory.

There is not much information available in English about hearing aids other than western ones and chinese ones and warnings about fakes of both by all...555.

I came across this brand almost by accident and they have a good reputation etc.. It is more than I had thought to spend but they are genuine and seem to work well. Don't know anything about features such as volume control or noise reduction.

I got sick of trying hearing aids.....the only time they're of any use is when it's quiet and then you don't actually need them.

If it's just me and the wife, we both have iPhones and Airpods, so I audio call her on Facetime and we chat over that......the big plus is you have ANC on the airpods.

If I go out and there's a small group I use a Blink B2......two TX mics and an RX which I plug into with IE200 earphones....job done.
