That's a myth of course. When you talk to people from those countries they're just as happy or unhappy as everyone else. Except they're getting taxed and have feminism rammed down their throat like nobody else. Here's a post from a woman in Denmark:

"Then we moved to Copenhagen last year and boy oh boy....

I don't like it here. I'm deeply depressed. The general "keep to themselves" nature of the people and the food are what bum me out the most. The country is also not very pretty to me. I miss beautiful nature."

Scandinavian food is terrible across the board, bar a few exceptions.

But you're also mistaken about trying to get these passed as "communist", they are obviously not. They are socialist democracies, that is true, but obviously the European variant of social democracy is fairly far away from communism.

Anecdotal nonsense at his finest.

You choose a random immigrant to Denmark to demonstrate what? That she personally is unhappy in Denmark? Well that's never happened anywhere with anyone in the world so it must be a solid insight into the 6 million people who live very happily in Denmark.

And I didn't say they were communist. In fact I went out of my way to say that socialism isn't the same as communism so what's your point in trying to say I'm 'trying to get these passed as "communist". Obviously I am not with anyone with a shred of reading comprehension understanding that.

P.S. Denmark has a high happiness score of 7.52 points (out of 10) placing it 3rd behind Finland another Scandanavian country and Iceland according to the World Happiness Report.

You guys just can't accept that there is more to life than simply making loads of money, only looking after yourself and turning into an old curmudgeon ranting at the happiness of others.

Must try harder Cameroni. As should all of your ilk.

Back to voting, you have 2 party system, and idiots are voting straight Dem, no matter who is running, usually someone they know NOTHING about. Yank voters are about the most ignorant that I can think of.

You get what you vote for ... why I left, as you can't fix stupid, and if wanting to retire early, you need to go elsewhere that doesn't tax you to death, and you can afford healthcare without silly insurance premiums ... IMHO

My point is saving no longer works, because the costs of keeping a roof over one's head and getting an education have got out of hand.

IMO it doesn't really matter whether an American votes Republican or Democrat. The people they elect no longer represent them, they are in the pocket of some lobby group.

The US Congress has 435 voting members. There are 100 senators. There are 13,000 registered lobbyists, and an unknown number of shadow lobbyists.

It doesn't take an Einstein to do the math.

They flew the coup, moved to USA, had 2 kids, still in banking, NYC, actually in twin towers before it came down, one of the lucky ones, escaped immediately. She passed away, and they, hubby & kids, moved to CT, still there surprisingly, no desire to return to Sweden ... nuff said.

Yet more anecdotal nonsense.

People do not seem to have a great desire to live in Sweden, if they're from there. Mallorca in Spain is full of Swedes, as is Pattaya. I think the typical problems of most of Northern Europe now, mass migration, socialist mismanagement, bad weather, etc. My grandparents had a summer house in Smaland, Sweden, but is was basic af. Toilet in a shack outdoors. Which is common to this day in Sweden's rural parts.

I did have a Swedish client who was resident in Cayman but owned a house in Italy and Sweden's Baltic coast, but his preferred place was Sao Paolo in Brazil. Sweden is not fun like Thailand, Mallorca, Brazil etc, the weather and food are poor, tax etc...Nah.

That last sentence did make me laugh, I'll grant you that. So you admit, the countries you listed are in fact not communist. Good, good.

I can only go by what I know as facts, not MSM, not bias YT'er or what stated by politicians, or non Yanks who don't live there, and pretty much, haven't a clue.

And my experience and direct knowledge from family & friends, relate to PA, NJ & FL, COL & tax burden. Would I move back to any place I use to live in PA or NJ ... NO. FL-maybe.

Also lived in MI, MS, WV, TN, and only possibly, would return to WV & TN, maybe.

Others ... YMMV

Yes, my best friend at school was Swedish and he was super close with his parents as well. They tend to have close family bonds it seems.

I once stayed overnight in his house. I had a thing for his 16 year old sister though, I was 13, and she invited me into her bed, just to kiss, but the parents found us in the morning and boy was that an uncomfortable Swedish breakfast...

During the recent House debate on the resolution condemning socialism,Gop J. Crank challenged the platform of the (DSA), arguing that their institutional goals run directly counter to the U.S. Constitution. In the vote 8 dems sided with GOP to condemn Socialism.

Crank pointed out that the DSA’s agenda includes radical overhauls such as pushing to abolish the U.S. Senate, open borders, dismantling police and prison systems, allowing non citizens to vote, and stripping away free market protections.

He warned that these policies represent an un American effort to dismantle the constitutional safeguards that have protected individual liberty and state representation for 250 years, describing the DSA as an insidious movement infiltrating the broader Dem party that threatens to assault free speech.

American expats receiving campaign messaging from far left progressive groups need to ask themselves where they stand on an agenda that actively seeks to dismantle the foundational governing institutions of the Republic for which it stands.

"House passes a resolution condemning socialism in all its forms, with 8 Democrats breaking ranks to join Republicans in the 220-192 vote".

Before you cast your vote consider the systemic progressive policies of the Dems/ Marxist( (saviors of the oppressed) communities where activist judges rule decisions like the one below.

‘Activist’ San Diego judge frees Machete-wielding MS-13 executioner known as ‘the witch’

"Ohta said in her decision that (foreign national) — who still has an active aggravated murder warrant in El Salvador — must be released unless federal authorities can prove at a bail hearing that he poses a danger to the community or is a flight risk".

Before you cast your vote as a American expat know that the far left has captured the big tent of the dem party as some are deliberately trying to delete their past statements as they campaign with DSA members.

‘F**k you…hurry up and die’: Swing-seat Democratic House candidate’s deleted tweets show far-left record

"William Lawrence, the Democratic nominee in one of the country’s most competitive House races in Michigan, deleted hundreds of old social media posts in which he embraced police and prison abolition, called for nationalizing fossil-fuel companies to end their production, attacked moderate Democrats and argued for a “fundamental overhaul” of the Constitution"

Thank God for over 20 years I've not had to put up with frauds, dope peddlers, swindlers, obnoxious pedophiles, fake Christian cults, incompetent fools and such that made my life Hell in the USA. All I have left is a vote, not that it will fix anything, but it's the least you can and must do. Request your ballot here: https://www.usvotersabroad.org/friend

Where did $24B go?

American expats, before you cast your vote, consider the systemic progressive policies of California that enabled massive spending without oversight, allowing millions of dollars intended for vulnerable homeless populations to be allegedly funneled into personal luxury assets like Westwood real estate and luxury vehicles while individuals in state funded programs were left scratching their butts. Check out California reports with local news affiliate reports.

California LOST $24 Billion As FBI EXPOSES Where Homeless Money Really Went

"A Los Angeles charity founder accused of pocketing $10 million meant for homeless shelter beds. A luxury house in Westwood. A Range Rover. A vacation home in Greece. Meanwhile, the people in his program were reportedly fed ramen noodles. This is the story of how billions in taxpayer money moved through California's homelessness system — and why almost nobody can prove where it went".

Before you cast your vote as a American expat know that the far left has captured the big tent of the dem party. Ms. Divine a opinion writer & famous for her book the "Laptop from hell" said the Dems are promoting radical change as some denounce the DSA , defunding the police & giving non citizens medicare is radical .its never been in the scheme of USA governance.

"Beyond impeaching Trump, Democrats have no agenda to create prosperity and ensure happiness for Americans. It’s all about entrenching their power and making life miserable, whether it’s stacking the Supreme Court, creating two new Democrat states, abolishing the Electoral College, '"medicare for all" illegal migrants, abolishing ICE, defunding the police, and on and on.

Americans Before you send in your ballot , just a reminder GOP has a Midterm convention.

They are asking Americans to choose between "Common Sense vs Craziness"

Frankly these adverts are probably pointless.

If these overseas votes are likely to favour Democrat candidates, does anyone seriously think that they will be counted?

It seems every time I watch a YT video recently i get hit with a advert about the midterm election voting capabilities as a expat with claims of 3M expats living outside the USA.

Anyone else living abroad getting constant YouTube ads telling expats to register and vote? Before filling out that absentee ballot, it’s worth looking closely at the real world results of the policies being pushed back home.

A recent piece in the NYP highlights how soft on crime strategies continue to impact major U.S. cities:

Times Square stabbing is just the latest proof progressives are the enemies of public order

"From innocents killed in broad daylight to the plague of homeless encampments to the violent crime that grips too many city neighborhoods, New York City has progressives to thank for its endemic disorder".

Reduction of employers and income opportunities, less taxes, will be the downfall, as they run out of other's money.

There really is not much hope for the U.S. with these kinds of statistics. It seems that President Trump will be the last great hope to turn things around but the left wing anarchists keep trying to kill him. Like the once great United Kingdom, the United States is being systematically dismantled by both legal and illegal migration. People who do not value the Constitution and traditions of the great founders of the United States. Nor do they possess the faith of these founders and theocracy that enabled the Constitution to be written. The U.S. Constitution could never be written today by the left wing zealots because they lack the moral fiber to make it happen. So the best we can do is enjoy the next two years of the Trump Presidency because it is just going to get worse when the left takes control.
