My 7 year old Lenovo AIO has never had much space to begin with, usually about 12GB, which has been more than enough to download a couple of movies or TV shows, but now it's down to 6GB and I don't know why.

I run regular scans to clear cookies etc and I delete all of the downloads, so why is the little space I have disappearing?

Where are you getting the numbers you quoted?

If those are numbers for RAM... you don't have any problem. If that is hard drive space.... it is quite low and you should consider an upgrade or adding an external SSD drive to store files you don't use that frequently.

I searched for "typical 7 year old Lenovo AIO specifications" and saw this:

Does that roughly match what you have?

Internal components on AIO computers can be harder to upgrade. My iMac is notorious for that issue.

Hard drive, and I have very little in the way of files.

Linux? If so install and run disk usage analyzer.

What size is the hard drive. Run a programme called "treesize" TreeSize – Official Free Download

Which will show what spaces are being used by what and the sizes. send a screen shot for further help!

PS; Have you emptied the recycle bin?
