I know, that was my point.

The way I'm reading it, the "wrong size" excuse was used when he returned the goods. It wasn't something he claimed to the police.

Bizarre way to get barred (no doubt) from the county...he may be one of the first on the Anutin express exit decree.

The creative ways people gets themselves deported these days are pretty entertaining. 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, agreed, my point was, when the police went round he had 4 shirts, as seen in the photo, but the seller also had 4 shirts that they thought were not the ones they had sent him, i,e. fake. So there were 8 shirts, 4 with the seller and 4 with the scammer. If it wasn't a scam, how come he had 4 shirts.

Must be pretty desperate sending back replica football shirts

As Genuine ones

If guilty should be booted out of the Country

original counterfeit vs fake counterfeit?

There is plenty of original counterfeit all over the place in Thailand

Now whether this customer switched fake for original counterfeit?

In the current climate, he may find himself deported.

Oh dear oh dear, Mr pedantic missed the humour once again, maybe in future we should put an end note just for you to point out that it was humour.

Unfortunately, the self-perceived humour is easily missed on this forum as there are so many posters who delight in having a go at the Thai police at any opportunity, so, yes, your "end note" would probably be a good idea in order to explain your humorous comments.

Back in England the shoplifters would go around Marks&Spencer's and take it back to another store to get refunds, M&S must have lost millions with that scam,

Marks and Spencer's have never offered cash refunds for articles presented without a receipt. They offered an exchange or a credit voucher if the receipt could not be produced.

Why is he ordering Buriram shirts online when he is in Buriram ,

just go to the stadium and buy from the club shop

Why shouldn't he when it's a service offered? Many people buy many things online even though there may be a shop 5 minutes away.

Hazards of making jokes in printed text - lost in translation

Has been happening in the US for years. Now shoplifting is high volume organized crime where their loot is resold on Amazon and Etsy. Receipts are now inspected and marked so they can't be re used. Walmart now locks up underwear and deodorant. You have to track down an employee with a key just to buy cheap necessities. Ridiculous.

The absurdity of the comment should have been enough to highlight it was a joke - seems it was to a number of other posters .

Interestingly, a following comment by a poster who joked about 4 police officers chasing 4 shirts also went over like a pregnant pole vaulter to at least 1 poster.

Perhaps a no return policy at the game itself!

Ive seen better copies than the real ones, Im sure they must have come out of the back door of the factory they were that good.

Only you who seems to be struggling, I guess a lot of humour just goes over your head.

Try not to be so argumentative all the time and just join in…..

Yep. Should have ordered Port FC shirts.

An off topic post trolling about Rolex and the replies have been removed.

More than 18 years ago I left sunglasses on a dining area table at my usual guesthouse. Oakley Minute 1.0

100 percent Genuine I went down to look the next day and there they were, untouched. Or so I thought.

Somebody had taken the time to replace them with fakes, very slight difference but obvious.

I always wondered why the crook simply did not take them. Amazing Thailand

There's no indication that he's a police officer. In raid such as that, officers who are not in uniform always have some kind of identifying badge or lanyard so that people know that they're the police. He could well be is a representative of the company that filed the complaint to the police, the company that sold the genuine shirts.

You missed the member's point, which is, even the police are wearing fake clothing, all the time whilst raiding shops for selling fake clothing. Amazing Thailand. 😂

And there has always been an easy workaround to convert the credit voucher into cash.
