TT stands for ThaigerTalk, the 'other' Thai forum. TT management did buy AseanNow, but decided at that time instead of merging both Fora in one, that the policies/philosophy and audience of both Fora

  • If any of the refugees want to change their current AN forum username to reflect their former TT name- let me know.

What was TT ?

It's The Common Sense League. From Thailand's number one Think Tank.

Already we have an interested partner. Maybe. Only want the top thinkers. Are you one? If yes; come on in and become educated and enlightened.

Excellent, so you won't be disappointed.

You have hit the right mark Sir. We don't want to come across as superior.

Lure the AN members in and whack them with unimaginable common sense.

We refugees still retain fond memories and gratitude to our soon to be former TT Leader Big Hewer, and the free expression Forum he ran so expertly, so we care, a lot

Odd to be a Newbie again. Now I know what the illegal boat people feel like.

Ditto to that. My first ThaiVisa post in 20 years. This could be interesting.

@Stiddle Mump I’ve just arrived and I like you already.

For years you Scottie were the number one in the joke section. You held it together and it has flourished since. Respect to you Sir.

However! This thread is a different kettle of fish. It is the Ex TT Common Sense Think Tank. Or ETTCSTT for short.

Prepare, as the pages unfold, and the TT members move over, to be enlightened beyond your imagination. Be prepared to take your thoughts to the next level. The next level? Yes, the next level.

Hello Boss, welcome.

Thank you Sir.

I'm not only here to gather praise and accolades from well intentioned members. No! I'm here to uplift the average mean of Common Sense thinking and awareness, to a far higher level. I'll be happy for an increase of 10%. It is then - and only then - that the mysteries of our very being will become apparent.

There is a grand team of us superior thinkers. We await Tippers to get us started. But we are not in a rush. No Sir. The accusation of greatness can be a slowish, step by step, process. One has to first build the snowball, before is can, under its own momentum, roll down the hill, getting bigger and ever more powerful as it goes..

Indeed! A conglomeration of truth and enlightened imaginative thinking.

Why?

I have no idea who or what these people or posts are about!

Would someone care to explain!

You will find out in the fullness of time and will therefore be both entertained and hugely informed and better equipped to face life in this very troubled World.

The repository of wisdom, guidance, energetic debate, and universal truths, now sadly, no more. But, we have come here to carry on that important, not to say vital work, for the benefit of humankind.

What?!

I had you marked down as a high-level free thinker Sir. Attuned to the mysteries of the unknown. Now you are saying you are not 100% au fey with us TT members.

Well! what can I say? If you, champion of the jokes, don't know, then the other AN members will simply be steamrollered. Or as was mentioned in a previous post; squashed under the unstoppable snowball of free thinking enlightenment.

Some years ago a friend of mine in Chumphon had a very nice home aquarium. He knew his fish and had spent a lot of time on it. He started off with a good range of species, carefully adding new ones and monitoring the balance.

Dwarf Gouramis are a beautiful fish; visually appealing and do what every aquarium owner wants; endless calm circuits around the tank, really idyllic.

Paul decided he wanted to add some color and added a small school of zebra danios to his tank. They zipped around, different energy to the gouramis.

At first the gouramis were curious but within a couple of days they all hung out in the corner of the tank behind the little porcelain fishing hut.

There were fewer danios and they were about the same size. But it was really surprising how limp the gouramis became.

Something about this thread reminds me of that story.

The Truth? Tin-foil Territory? Twenty Tossers? Probably something like that.

Do not Judge, they know not what they say.

You don't know what you don't know if you don't know it, until you do. That's as simple as I can put it

Is was a conglomeration of Think Tankers.

We got together and decided that we would go to AN and not only raise the level of internal consciousness, but to engage in the very elements of human thought and wonder. In plain talking; external thinking.

Good grief, it's 10 hours since I started posting on this forum. How time flies when you are bored with U Tube, and Mrs. Oaktree (she likes her new moniker) is cleaning the pool, and the dogs, and you are between watching NFL games.
