I want to know the procedure of getting it done and to whome i need to contact in suvarnabhoomi airport with what are all documents? If anybody provide the information, it will be a great help for me to enjoy a nice thai trip. Thanks in advance.

What's your nationality. If your country is on the visa exempt list, you don't need a visa. I've never heard of a transit visa. I suspect there is none. You will either need to do visa on arrival, which you can find ways to do at the airport just fine, or you don't need to get a visa.

Hi Balaji

What Passport do you hold?

How long do you want to stay in Thailand?

You seem to have an Indian name and you say you are enroute to India

So if you have Indian Passport you can get a VOA - Visa on Arrival

for a stay of 15 days.

You apply at the VOA desk - once you have your VOA you then go to immigration.

The VOA process is straightforward if you have all documentation correct

- including 2 passport photos.

But depending on the Queue - it could take one hour.

To save time - I recommend you obtain and complete in advance

a VOA application form TM.88

I have tried to find a place for this Form to be downloaded

but it is not among those in the List at the head of this Forum

CAN ANYBODY DIRECT US PLEASE? <<<<

You can read about the Rules of VOA at this Website>

http://www.thaiemb.org.in/en/consulate/chennai.php

click on Services then Visa

Also here>

You must have Outward Ticket from Thailand within 15 days of Arrival

and Bht10,000 = about US$330

Hi,

I am a Nepalese Citizen. I am travelling to Nepal via Bangkok. I will in the transit for about 14 hours during my travelling, however, I do not intend to travel in Bangkok, i.e, I will be spending time only in the Airport. Do I still need to get the transit visa for that. Can anyone suggest me please.

If you have to pass through Immigration you will need a Transit Visa.

The rule is that if you will be in transit for more than 12 hours you need a transit visa.

TWOV (Transit Without Visa):

Visa required, except for Transit passengers continuing their

journey to a third country within 12 hours provided not

leaving the transit lounge, and holding tickets with confirmed

reservations and other documents for their onward journey.
