Pronouncing โทร as "thro" is in line with pronouncing โคร as "kro" in Makro store. Would you not agree?

I will agree that the pronunciation [ML]mae [M]khoon is plausible but wrong. (I think it's [ML]mae [F]khroo, but I'm not sure of the final tone.) The RID doesn't use phinthu for no reason when it shows the pronunciation.

Are you suggesting that when speaking American English, one can rhyme 'plough' with 'hoe'?
