Hard Times For Tv, Need New Solution From The Pros!

@ first thanks 2 all who spend the time reading my story and eventually giving me some advice to do it the right way.

I started in 2005 Apr. traveling for 2 month in Thailand and guess what! I couldn’t go back into the same world I came from. So I stayed here in Thailand for about 1 Year traveling north and south and with some short trips to Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia. At this time i was sure I am not living my life the way I was before. Some big changing needed to be done. I was working for about the last 4 years in Switzerland and made big bugs but I got sick of working with people who got all the same little boring problems. I’m pretty sure there are plenty with same attitude. So I went online and applied for a 1 year working holiday visa in Australia. Hmm? Yepp this year is over as well and I made some more bugs and studied in spare time all the mind changing books from Kiyosaki, Thomas Friedman or Michael Gerber. So there was no way I would ever work for a boss again. But what I wasn’t planning is to meet this woman which was changing my life over there in Sydney. This woman coincidentally was a master of business student from Thailand. So she graduated nearly the same time my visa expired over there. All happened very fast and we planned our future together as we would know each other since decades. I was sure to be able to survive and live all day life here in Bangkok with all the culture stuff. So we did. Now I’m here and she started for the first with eBay and it went up very quickly (more than needed) actually my concern is about the way I’m staying here. I’ve got the tourist visa and did also 3 Visa stamps according to this new rule here. But this can’t be our future forever! I booked already a Visa run to Laos to get this 2. Tourist Visa. How will I be able to stay here without this being Tourist brand marked? We want get married anyway, but this wouldn’t be an advantage As I read your Forum, to show my savings is not enough at all. We should show a Taxed income of 40,000 biggies at least per month. So could anybody give us advice what visa would fit, where we should register this kind of business, which form LTD, Partnership or limited? Should I be employed from her? Where to get the adequate advice fits to us? I know these stories about foreigner staying here married a woman and opened a beer bar. Or just set up an Ltd and bought through this a land for them selves. It sound so easy, but I can’t see through how! I’ve read all these legal offices but hesitate to choose which one could do the best for us?

Hopefully some of you guys can point us to the legal track focused on the long future.

Thanks to all spend the time reading this little life story and want give some advice.

:o

Would make sense for you to contact a lawyer/biz set-up company like Sunbelt and ask those questions but unless you and/or your wife are over 50 years old (retirement "visa"), it looks to me that setting up a company with your E-bay biz is one way to go.

Another solution that can give you 1 year "visa"(s) for 2 years or so would be to start studying in Thailand like your gf/future wife. It could be Thai or MBA or whatever.

CHeers!

I'm sorry, but this doesn't make sense.

You made big bucks in Switzerland, then more bucks in Australia, and now your Ebay business is better than you need, yet you don't have savings?

Makes fine sense Tropo :o

Maybe he spend them! (The Ebay biz is fairly new).

Also I think what he is trying to say is that showing savings is not enough (for a visa). One need to show taxed income for a marriage "visa".

Cheers!

Tropo, he never said that he made big bucks! He actually breeds large insects and sells them on Ebay :o (You would think that he would have a ready customer base in Issan...)

All i mean is that there are this requirements for this NON O Visa, married and show the savings of 800.000THB and or the taxed income of 40.000THB monthly. Just savings and married alone isn't enough. I guess i have to set up an LTD. But still the question> who can recommend me a good information source or adviser/lawyer.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

If your g/f is qualified as you say you could marry her and send her out to work as the B40,000 pm income you need to show for a 1 year extension to your visa is a joint income.
