Drinking Water Dispensers In The Street

I get deliveries of those huge bottles.

I also have a kenwood filtered water bottle togther with many additional filters - these arrived with my shipment from household items from Europe. I'd like to use these up (many months worth of filters) but to some purpose.

I presume putting tap water through this filter doesn't sufficiently purify the water.

But what about putting the bottled water through the filter? Is that improving the water further - or not worthwhile?
