hi there, is there anyone who'd be wililng to do a short interview on the phone tonight regarding local thoughts about the plane crash? this is for U.S. radio and we'd really like to get the thoughts of people on the ground.

That's bold. I find humor in all things. I am sad for the souls on the plane because I know all to well of what it is to be landing in Phuket. The magical feeling of not wanting to wait, being so excited for the sights and smells. I know what it feels like to be waiting to land, close, but not there yet... To be told by the crew we are waiting on Mother Nature...

I know the extreme rush of excitement finally being told to prepare for landing and knowing we were almost here.

To touch the runway, a slight cheer from the the passengers is heard, but what I have never felt is the sudden wind gust, and the plane crashing.

I feel bad because those people never made it. There vacation was cut short. So short that they never knew the greeting they were to receive. Over in a flash.

What I find absolutely ridiculous is man kinds' sudden need to bring this misery and suffering to people who don't even know nor care where this Island is. To bring you not only the news, but bring the heart felt stories of people to other people, for the sake of entertainment. The fact that you would participate in this makes me sick. I may be a jerk, an Ar$eh°le, but what else would I look like to someone like you. You are just one of many cattle along for the ride.

say what you want on this forum, but letting some Journalist market, edit and sell your feelings makes me think of many names to call you, Mate...But I reserve name calling for face to face conversations, and leave the disagreements to be discussed here.

I think that News in ALL its form, is good. But the News, not the feelings related to such. It is Journalism of opinion, to me, that is funny.

Death happens. I hate it like the rest, but reporting to the US the feelings and thoughts of other people between NON-related commercial breaks to me is ludicrous.

But by all means, participate if it moves you. Jerk? you say?
