The only possible places in CM are Airport Plaza or Kad Suan Kaew.

Your friend would do better in Bangkok, at Emporium etc.

Agreed, i told him to try in bkk...the only place i know is the Lacoste store on Changklan road. Tried airport plaza but no joy. To be honest, i cant be a*** to drag around town looking but i said id make enquiries for him.

I am sorry to say there are not any 'real' designer labels in Chiang Mai. A day in BKK spent shopping couldn't be too bad.

Hi , i have a friend over from Sweden on holiday who is looking to take some designer clothing back home with him, particularly Ralph Lauren.

Can anyone point him in the right direction ? thanks

Send him to gaysorn plaza in bkk, although ralph lauren is a bit down market , it may be in there ! :o

thanks i will point him in that direction... Apparently , Ralph Lauren is an expensive and desirable brand in Sweden...not as classy as my prefered choices of Addidor and Donnay, but then i am a dreadful snob! :D
