Leaving & Returning To Los On Non Imm Ed Visa

Featured Replies

hi,is it ok to take a visit to malaysia,& return to thailand, whilst on a non immigrant ed visa,or would it need paperwork from bangkok immigration?

i am asking for a citezen of myanmar.

thanks for any advice offered.

Are you talking about a 90 day visa entry, a one year extension of stay, or what. When you leave your visa entry permitted to stay until also leave (expires) unless you obtain a re-entry permit prior to exit. So if she is permitted to stay in Thailand until December 22 and leaves tomorrow for two week she would need a multi entry visa and a new entry to come back or a re-entry permit prior to leaving to keep the December 22 date alive.

yes,she has a 1 year (or 11 months to be exact) non imm ed visa.she has to report to bkk immigration every 90 days.

so i need to look into a re entry permit?

thanks

A 4x6cm photo, TM.8 form and 1,000 baht for a single entry. You can get a border or airport (after check in) but best to obtain early at any immigration office.
