Whats My Best Options?

Featured Replies

I have a multiple entry (3x 2months) tourist visa from the US and my first 2 months i about to run out. What are my options to renewing it for another 2 months and which is the best/easiest? Also what documents will i need for each type? I've read that I could leave the country but only to certain countries like Laos but not Cambodia. I've also heard that I could do it at the embassy plus a million other ways (most are conflicting) and I am really confused.

Thanks

1. You have a three entry visa valid for 3? or 6? months?

2. If valid for six months you could potential stay up to almost 9 months in Thailand.

3. Visa entry is 60 days but this (each) can normally be extended another 30 days for 1,900 baht/photo at an immigration office.

4. A new entry obtains a new 60 day stay and that can be done by crossing any border/entering other country/exiting other country and re-enter Thailand.

5. There is not reason this can not be done in Cambodia. I suspect you have heard talk of visa exempt entry and a requirement for outbound ticket - that is not currently required with a visa.

6. You can not obtain 60 day entry at immigration (believe you called it embassy). Only extensions are available there.
