September 27, 200718 yr Hi all ! Doing a kind of market research. Are there any kind of real authentic Brazilian Restaurants in Thailand ? The real ones meaning Churrasceirias serving Rodizio I know the one in Samui, but that's not sooo authentic can be anywhere in Thailand Thanks
September 27, 200718 yr Fogo Vivo in Bangkok's Intercontinental Hotel is the only one that I know of...and they do advertise themselves as a Churrasceiria, but I haven't tried them out yet.
September 27, 200718 yr There's one in the Asia Hotel. Not bad but limited offering of meats. Price was pretty good though, as I recall it was under 600 baht.
September 30, 200718 yr "A Garden" at the end of Suk 51 on Friday or Saturday nights. All you can eat meat off the skewers - beef, lamb, pork, sausages, chicken, and fish and prawns off the skewers. They just keep bringing it around until you give up or throw up I think. Comes with access to a decent salad bar and deserts bar, although that isn't Brazillian fare. About 600 baht per head. http://www.wheretoeat-bangkok.com/restaura...ws/a_garden.htm I've never bothered with the other brazilian around town - this one recommended by fellow foodies I trust over the others for price, quality & quantity.
October 4, 200718 yr Fogo Vivo at the Intercontinental. They have sexy samba dancers in bikinis and feathers doing their thang about 9 pm, and i must say the food is just about as gimicky as the performance. Avoid.
October 4, 200718 yr One in Chiang Mai at the Sofitel Hotel apparently. There is a thread about it here.
