Bkk - Laem Chabang

From Bangkok to Laem Chabang (the port) anybody has any info on the transportation?

Buses run from Bangkoks both bus stations. For the record, LCB is only 17kms from Pattaya

True... the number 2 bus from Ekkami bus station runs down Sukhumvit road directly past the port of Laem Chabang then on into Pattaya. However, if you were to get off the bus at LCB, you would have to hire a local motorcycle taxi to get you to wherever you wanted within the port complex.

An alternative would be to hire a taxi from Bangkok, negotiate a price with the driver, and get dropped off at the door of whichever company you're visiting in the port.

Thank you thank you nonthaburial and Jai Dee. I will say hire taxi is better for me. Too old to hop in and out the bus and get on the motobike taxi!

From what I know from BKK-Pattaya by taxi costs about 1500 bahts. To LCB shoul cost the same eh?

1500 baht should do it.

If you want him to hang around and take you to a hotel in Pattaya after your business, you could try negotiating a fixed fee of 2000 baht... 1000 paid when he drops you off at LCB (get his mobile number) and the remaining 1000 when he drops you off at your hotel.
