Lacking perspective could be the trademark for some on this forum it seems.

I rather thought my post would be helpful to those anticipating a visa run who may wish to balance comfort with economy but evidently I have neglected to take into account the essential blue collar nature of some who populate the board.

I would seem you are the one lacking perspective here.

What you did basically was insult a large group of people with comments such as these:

Presumably people with riches would laugh at suggestions to stay on Chulia Street, but many would find accommodation there quite acceptable.

Perhaps you could recommend a private jet charter for visa runs to Penang.
