A friend of mine lives in Pattaya and wants to extend his Non O visa in Bangkok. Paperwork is complete. Is it possible to extend his visa in Bangkok or does he have to go to the immigration in Pattaya because he lives there?

In the past it has been acceptable to use Bangkok for good reasons but there has been recent talk of home location being the required processing point now. Unless he has had a problem in Jomtien believe he should be using them and that Bangkok may well tell him that.
