Me and my wife have been trying to find suitable land for sale at chiangmai banks.Our main problem is locating the land.We are given a small usually inacurate map by the bank,and ask Tuk Tuk driver to find land,but only with a 80% success rate and usually a high fare because he struggles to find the plot of land.My point is, obviously if we went to normal real estate agents they would take us to their land,but banks don't have transport service. Has anyone a suggestion to solve this problem,or better still does anyone know wher I can get a A-Z street plan than includes full road listings for a 20 km radius of Chiangmai

Could look the locations up on google maps first.

It appears to have most of the Chiang Mai streets labeled (in Thai language)

Get the bank to give you a gps reading or some other accurate reference - then use google maps to see where it is - plan your journey and use a hand held gps with detailed maps for the area you are in to know where you are and how to get there. Ask the driver for a charge upfront of how much it will cost to get there and get back - then you will get there quickly...
