Ok, thanks mate.

Could i get one in Vientiane?

I'm arriving on the 15th, and have an onward ticket (which i have no intention of using) for the 30th. So i should have no problems with the visa on arrival. But then if I wanted to do a visa run on the 15th of next month i would no longer hold a valid onward ticket, and so might have a problem.

I don't believe they are ever so strict about enforcing this onward ticket malarkey at most borders, but i'd rather not take the risk. So if i could get a tourist visa in Vientiane i could go there next month and then back to Thailand for 2 more months worry free.

Yes you should be able to obtain a tourist visa in Vientiane.

IF this is right as I am sure it is. where would the best place to go and apply for a tourist visa if you was in bangkok. WHich county would it be eaiser ?

Cambodia very hard - Malaysia, Laos, Singapore much better.

1- One month ? So you are talking about a Tourist Visa Exemption not a Visa on arrival

2-The TVE give you 30 days, including arriving and leaving days. So you have to make your visa run not after the 13th of november, not the 15th.
