Re-entry On A 60 Day Visa

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm coming to Thailand for 60 days and am looking on leaving and coming back into Thailand twice during my stay. Do I have to purchase a re-entry visa from the UK which i've been told is 3 times the amount of a normal 60 day visa, or can I just purchase a normal 60 day visa without paying the extra.

If you have a UK passport you are allowed entry for up to 30 days without visa - so if you arrive with a tourist visa and have air ticket out within 30 days you can just return and obtain the 30 day stamp(s). You could also buy a re-entry permit at Immigration in Thailand at the cost of 1,000 baht each which would keep your 60 day stay alive. Or you could buy a three entry tourist visa which would be 3 times the price from a Consulate (if they will issue).

If. You could also buy a re-entry permit at Immigration in Thailand at the cost of 1,000 baht each which would keep your 60 day stay alive.

any one else verify this please?
