October 17, 200718 yr We have decided to go the o/a visa route at the thai embassy in London do we need to get the bank document and the medical document notorized or are they ok with out, also any one know how old the bank statements can be is a week or two ok.We are both applying for oa multi entry visas any tips ?.
October 18, 200718 yr You need to check with the Embassy as different places have different rules - have not seen many posts from people using the O-A route from the UK. Most seem to arrive on an O visa and then extend stay in Thailand.
October 18, 200718 yr Assuming you can meet the financial requirements for a retirement extension it may well be less hassle to get a non-o (single or multi entry) from Hull on the grounds of 'investigating retirement options' and then extend that visa once you arrive in Thailand. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

October 18, 200718 yr If you are issued a multi entry you are good for almost two years as each entry receives a one year permitted to stay stamp so if you enter the day before the visa ends you get one year again from that date. The only change would be you could not travel without a re-entry permit. You are right - only the 90 day address reports would be required.
