Hi Guys,

Just coming back to LOS after having spent a month a half in Switzerland and Italy.

I went to the Thai consulate in Milan and I've applied for a Multiple Non Immigrant O Visa but I've got just 2 entries, I've been told that no consulates will issue Multiple Non O Visa from now on, including Penang and KL.

Is that true? Reading recent posts make me be optimistic though, few people succeeded in getting the visa I'm talking about... any useful news folks?

Non Imm O Visa come in multi entry or single. Don`t know what you have.

You do mean the non immigrant multiple non O ?

Sounds very unlikely that this news is true , got this visa from the A'dam consulate for years now ,

with no dificulties at all , the last one obtained in May .

Not that I don't believe you but I guess you are referring to triple tourist visas?

It is very unlikely the multiples( o's) are out of range , cause it must be a legitimite reason

to get one anyway , married and over 50's only .

Based solely upon postings here, I doubt that multi-entry non-'O' visas are a thing of the past, but I don't doubt that there are certain consular offices such as those visited by the OP that will not issue a multi-entry non-'O' for whatever reason local to them.

Could be a good reason , I wonder though if the Op got the same nationality as the countries he visited .

If not it could be a valid reason why so ....

Here's another example of the same sort of nonsense from earlier this year: no more multi-entry non-'B' visas

The Thai consulate in Chicago insisted to OP in that thread that the multi-entry non-'B' visa no longer existed anywhere and even had memos to show to this effect. However, this has not been proven to be the case. Bottom line is that many of the Thai consular offices seem to be as confused about visa policies as we are, and sometimes have their own local rules that they will absolutely insist are being enforced across-the-board at every Thai consular office (even though a visa applicant may know this to not be the case).

I understand what you mean ovenman .

Just another story to confuse , anyway its true about that the consulates do not know either

for whats going on . The woman who helped me last time at the Amsterdam consulate ,

who was very helpful and friendly , made it clear to me that she got news later then

for example we do on TV .

Which was annoying her deeply to do her work properly , unbelievable isn't it ?

To make it clearer, I've asked for a multiple which have been denied in Milan, instead they gave me a couple of entries and I'm talking of a Non Immigrant O and not a Tourist Visa since I'm married and father of a Thai child.

There are no documents you can show in order to obtain a Multiple Non O visa in Milan, this is certain!

The guy in charge wanted to give me only one entry but I've insisted and so I've got 2 entries, BTW I told him "if you want to give 2 entries fine, otherwise I'll go to Penang to get one Multiple in three months, no big deal" and he replied "Penang is not issuing the Multiple Non Imm. O visa anymore, so the other consulates!"

That's why I'm posting, I was wondering if somebody knows more about Multiple Non Immigrant o visa issuances.

Thanks
