TommyGun
Hi Can anyone recommend a wood stain product for decking that will be exposed to the weather. I bought a productm called Shark by the recommendation of the retailer, but within 2 days the stain started to burn off. The decking will be walked on alot. Many Thanks

ProThaiExpat
TOA and jomtun are two of the best and they now have their own company owned stores where they sell only their product with competent staff. Going to a small display in a major homepro type operation is problematic. The one brand stand alone stores have a complete lien of stains and they help you with exactly what you need. They often have English speakers as well. Stains come in various types, depending on how much color you want to add in the process. For a walking surface, a deep penetrating stain with color would be best in my opinion, as you want the color to remain constant with wear. A non-penetrating color is not good but may be necessary if your wood is finished or sealed already.
