Are they still OK with ONE copy of all required documents, or do they want two copies? Last time I came in I had two copies but they only wanted one, still true?

When I applied for (and received) my new one-year retirement extension at Jomtien Immigrations the first week of October, they only took one copy of each document: original application form, original embassy letter, original bank letter, photocopy of passport and bankbook pages. I used 65k income method, but still provided bank account documentation.

I did need a second copy of the passport pages for the re-entry permit application. (Can't remember right now if it were just the photo page, or if it also included the visa stamp page.)

Today at the same office I had 2 copies of ever thing and they made me fill out 2 copies of the tm7 form as well. But as you can see from my other post I was also told to go to bangkok MFA to get a stamp done on my letter of pension and also copies of my internet bank account statements in the uk. I was renewing my visa for married to thai national.

Normally the requirement for retirement extension is taken care of with one copy as it is a local decision. For family has always required two copies as one must be sent on to Bangkok for approval.
