londonthai
I would be interested in some mountain biking, wheres the nearest place to BKK with some decent trails? there are some bike companies doing rides in bangkok itself - on the west side of the river. No hills - but rough terrain and jungle-like trails www.bangkokbikehash.com http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48659

legag
shopping and meeting new potential gik Ha. Sounds like a true playa playa! Ain't nothing wrong about that I kinda do that too in the city of BKK if I don't get on the wheels and out of the city to any where close, got some fresh air, country sightseeing, see lives on the other side of the city on weekend or whenever I can. ashacat
I went go-karting in RCA last week, which was really good fun, only 390 Baht for 2 ten minute races during their "happy hour" (from 7pm till 9pm I think). Apart from this I like going to the driving range, swimming, also planning on starting playing squash and tennis. There is a lot to do here if you can get out of the rut of going to the pub/malls. Murf
The Go Cart track at RCA isn't all that good i dont think. The carts are really slow, even the biggest ones they do are boring. I'm looking at buying a car at the moment, so i can get out the city at weekends!!!

Sorry, maybe I should have pointed out that they are not fine tuned racing class carts for the seasoned professional. But if you are looking for something different to do in BKK which won't cost you a fortune, then go-karting is a great option.
