When You Finally Moved To Thailand . . .

i wish i could turn back the time. when our things were seaworthy packed and stored our plan at that time was to relocate to another country, not Thailand. if i had known what i know now then 20% of the volume would have been disposed of and a zillion things packed in the container which are not available in Thailand or if they are available nobody is able tell me where/how to procure them.

I leave tomorrow. I sent ahead my art collection, hi-fi and cd's plus a library of English books (as you pay for volume not weight) to get me through the winter.

We are here initially for 6 months so in my suitcase is 480 Yorkshire tea bags as Liptons Yellow Label is not tea!!! Oddly enough it was not me that demanded we bring the tea bags but my wife who, after 5 months in the UK, has developed a taste for tea in the morning. We also have a jar of truffles!

As usual I will surely bring too much.
