Lighting Stores In Bkk

I'm trying to find a light to install in my kitchen. Basically I need just a simple tube style florescent light to mount under the kitchen cupboards that are above the sink. It's a bit dark so I want to put in a simple light so it's brighter at the sink.

Power is available right there so that's not a problem. I checked at Central Chitlom and Home Pro but they didn't have a light like that. Anybody know of a lighting store that might have that type of light?

There are dozens of light stores up sukhumvit.

Also Ratchada has a few along it, one next to Poseidon.

Home Pro chitlom is not the best, go to a bigger one and I would think they would have it. Try Ratchada.

There is a very big new Home Pro at Phetkasem road just before the Carrefour on the way to BKK center coming from Nakornpathom.

You look for some kind of light, they have it for sure. I have been there and could not believe the assortment on display.

Tube style florescent light?

We have that in a couple of places, and I'm planning to do away with it, particularly in the cooking/sink area of the kitchen. It takes too long to start up, and if you don't leave it on for a while it's not that efficient.

Better to install the compact florescent incandescent bulb replacements for standard sockets or get the latest LED lights.

I have an LED flashlight I bought at Phantip. I came in handy during a recent blackout (while packing up to leave a hotel room). The batteries last forever.

I think white LED is a good way to go for instant on and below cabinet lighting, etc.
