libya 115 Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I am the recent proud owner of a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. It has Vista loaded and I have a few problems. 1. All my .doc from my desk top will not open, it seems I don't have Microsoft Word loaded just a works programme, I managed to convert a few documents with open with (different programmes) but they come out distorted. 2. I receive Emails O.K. now I have entered my domain passwords in the Windows mail programme, but it seems I cannot receive emails from my personal .com address because I have to be connected to Freeola which is a UK local telephone number. Is there any way around this. I don't have an International line in my apartment here in the Middle East. Thanks for any help. Will I have to buy Microsoft Word?
