Need a bit of advice here, my wife has 2 rai on the lake in Khon Kaen we heard yesterday through a family friend that the land is now worth 5 million a rai!! i'm not sure about that but does anyone have a contact for an estate agent in Khon Kaen that could give a true on what the land is worth?? Bit difficult for us because we are currently living in Southern Thailand. Any information would be great. Cheers

Llike anything, it's worth what someone today is willing to pay for it. Maybe check around for recent land sales in the immediate area or local land office records of recent sales in the area. Another way to test the market is to have someone put a for sale sign up with your number on it and see what offers your get.
