This is disgustingly irresponsible, immature, and dangerous. It just goes to show that these men do not give a shit about anyone but thmselves. They are nothing but scum. There are in fact over fouteen different types of sexually transmitted diseases. Although about two-thirds of these are easily cleared up once detected, many go undetected and the consequences, especialy for women, can be severe. For a handful, there is no cure. We all know about the obvious - HIV and syphillis - but there are others that can be fatal especially Hep B and Hep C (which are 30 times easier to catch than HIV). The other third of STDs can lie dormant for years and years silently causing damage, such as Herpes (most people don't know there are two types) that live in the spine, and of course syphilis. Some men use the excuse that they can't wear a condom because it desroys the feeling, or they can't get it up properly. These men never seem to get themselves frequently checked out, but yet they expect the girls to do so. ###### hypocrites. The worst type of man is aware of the dangers but still goes ahead, and worse, they try to persuade vulnerable girls, some who are too afraid to say no, or feel prssurised because of poverty. Take heed.

They are hypocrites. Also, some STDs, even minor ones, if undetected contain bacteria and protozoa that can cause huge prostate problems in men (affecting libido and energy levels) and pelvic imflammatory disorders in women (affecting their fertility). When I ran a bar in Patong Beach I made sure all the girls had a supply with them, and made sure that they charged 150 baht extra, if the guy had none himself. They soon learnt the sensible way to go. I also loudly identified punters who tried to make the girls ride bareback. Didn't want them in my bar.

And most people haven't heard of about 70% of sexually transmited diseases. There are new ones being discovered every year. And of the ones that already exist, as micro-biologists point out, they are constantly mutating in order to survive, so that some which were once easily curable are harder to cure, or even detect in some cases. People only know the obvious like HIV. Aks people about Chanceroid, Chlamydia and the effects of certain types of bacterial non-specific Urethitis on the Prostate - and hence the negative effect on libido/sex drive and energy levels (as Sinbad mentioned), and they've no idea. And that's just the men who are meant to be educated. The girls don't have a clue.

About 1 in 20 sexually active women in the UK are infected with chlamydia. It is most common in women under 25. Many women are not aware that they are infected as it often causes no symptoms. You can be infected with chlamydia for months, even years, without realising it. These UK guys should know better considering Chlamydia is rife in the UK, mind you, most can't get a shag at home anyway. Can you catch Chlamydia through masturbation?

He is screwing 60 girls in a month all of whom are in the high risk category with no protection. Sex-Pats (your term) do not go to Thailand and create a sex industry. Sex-Pats go to Thailand because there IS a sex industry. By far the biggest customer base for Thai prositutes is the Thai male population. I have never been with a prosistute (BG or otherwise), yet I still condone the wearing of condoms for those that do. Stopping those that do is another issue that does not belong in this thread; helping to curb the spread of unwanted pregnancy and disease does belong in this thread and it is this that people have posted on.
